Orange Seitan Stir-fry

    Instructions

    Combine and mix all sauce ingredients and set aside.
    In a skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of oil, saute the seitan for 5 minutes, until seitan is slightly browned on all sides.
    Transfer to a plate, and cover to keep warm.
    In the same skillet, add another spoon of oil, and saute the shallots for 3 minutes.
    Add the peppers and cook for 4 minutes or until medium-soft.
    Add ginger, garlic, and chili flakes pepper, and cook about 2 minutes more.
    Pour the sauce into the pan and mix everything.
    After a few minutes, when the content starts to thicken, add the seitan. Let cook another 2 minutes.
    Serve warm with cooked rice.

    Ingredients

    2 tablespoon oil
    2 seitan fillet, sliced into strips
    3 shallots, finely chopped
    1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced
    1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
    2 tablespoon grated ginger
    3 gloves garlic, crushed
    1/2 tablespoon chili flakes
    2 cup cooked rice to accompany

    Sauce
    1 orange, juice of
    1/2 orange, scratches of the peel
    3 tablespoon soy sauce
    2 tablespoon mirin (rice vinegar)
    1 tablespoon flour
