lecker-frisch-gesund - Edit
Das 3-Dosha ist mit Abstand das beste indisch-ayurvedische Restaurant weit und breit. Alles ist frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Zudem fühlt man sich sofort wohl.

Very tasty ayurveda buffet - Edit
In the evening the place offers a buffet with several curries, rice, salad, samosas and more.. For a fixed price of 28 chf you can eat as much as you want, which is very rare to find in Switzerland. The food is not labeled but the waitress informed us that everything is vegan except the raita sauce. The food was delicious and it was a very nice experience!

tasty and spicy - Edit
Mainly vegan indian spicy self service where, with a fixed price of 27 chf, you can serve yourself as many times as you want. In the buffet I find 6 different hot dishes, samosa and 3 sauces (one with dairy ingredient). Sweets are also available but not included in the fixed price (6 chf).

Very small buffet - not everything vegan - Edit
This restaurant has very limited seating, it's highly recommendable to book a table in advance. For larger groups, there is a seperate room.
Read moreTheir buffet is very small and not everything is vegan. You have to ask the staff, as this isn't mentioned on the info signs next to the dishes. Usually there is the paneer and rajita that aren't vegan, which is a shame, as both can be made vegan very easily.
I'm used to a large selection of different curries from indian restaurants in the UK, so the limited choice here is somewhat sobering. The food is ok, but nothing special.
The buffet is all-you-can-eat, so CHF 27.50 for the evening buffet don't seem such a rip-off. At lunch time, it's cheaper, but it's just one plate then, which costs CHF 18.50 including a glass of water.
Staff is usually friendly enough,
Cons: limited choice at the buffet

don't go, its a reap off - Edit
I went there for dinner and was very disappointed. food is very expansive and not so good and in addition they charge us more than 20 Swiss Franks for the water, although we just asked for regular water. When we complained they didn't want to listen and just said that it is our problem. This also happened to the people who sat next to us. Will never go again.

good but expensive - Edit
This is a very nice restaurant. The food was very tasty, and since it was a buffet also quantitatively satisfying. It was however, very expensive, partly due to the unfavorable exchange rate with the Euro. I ended up paying €30,- for a drink and a meal.

Excellent Evening Buffet - Edit
We ate dinner there this week to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. We had the buffet à discrétion, which means you can go up again for more, something relatively rare in Switzerland [27.50 CHF each]. Everything was yummy; we enjoyed it. To choose from, there were 2 appetisers, then rice and another grain [millet possibly?], and 4 different saucy veggie dishes. A few things were spicy, like the samosas and several very tasty chutneys. So I think that the 1st review from 2010 is out of date, when the restaurant had a different owner and name. It makes sense to make a reservation if you are a group, as the place seems popular and is not large.

Indian vegan ...Good but it could be better... - Edit
If you like indian food and you'are vegan, then you can try this place. It's 99% vegan. They have few items which are vegetarian which are clearly stated in this case. Service Staff is ok. It could be a bit friendly though .. atmosphere is fine. Although small, there is plenty of place and you have your privacy. We had buffet and could choose among 7 different dishes as much as we wanted.

Relaxing and fine food - Edit
In this small restaurant near the center of Bern (with Tram 9, only 50 meters near station Spitalacker) you'll fill the flavour of the not-spicy indian food. 100%vegetable Buffet at midday and à la carte in the evening.
