Adventist Adventure

It was difficult to locate the café, but I don't think we used the closest hospital entrance. Unfortunately, we discovered the café is no longer vegetarian. The only hot foods were potatoes, and biscuits that I assumed were not vegan. So we chose pre-made Sunrise Sandwiches, which included vegan sausage, egg, and cheese on a ciabatta roll. It was fine after heating it up in the microwave, but it was nothing special. There were also Higher Taste burritos and sandwiches and Alternative Baking Company cookies.

Pros: open early, inexpensive, outdoor seating

Cons: limited vegan options, single-use plastic, location

Cafeteria food done right

Nice change of pace. Good food, no frills.
