Vegan oasis at the Elbe - Edit
The purely vegan hotel was founded in July 2021 and is for me a successful mix of modern and rustic castle ambience. It is beautifully and quietly located in the biosphere reserve at the Elbe and Löcknitz and has a large garden with interactive information stations (Auenreich) in the castle grounds. Sustainability is written large and is reflected in every detail. The breakfast is a major highlight and offers everything you could want and everything you haven’t thought of. The hotel has young and very lovely staff, dogs are also welcome. For Lunch, afternoon cake and dinner you can eat very well in the attached restaurant Place to V.
Read moreAs for activities, you can rent bicycles, canoes or SUP and ride along the rivers, discover the Müritz Bear Forest, go hiking, visit the Rudow Lake or the inland dune.

Very nice vegan hotel - Edit
Nice hotel in a great location, next to a nature information centre run by BUND, and in the middle of a small park. The rooms - we had a regular double in the "school" annex - we not spectacular, but fine. Really great: the breakfast buffet. From pancakes to porridge, all kinds of spreads, mushrooms, salad, fruit, sweets, vegan cheese ... great stuff. Worth going for the breakfast alone!

Vegan Hotel between Hamburg and Berlin with great food - Edit
Completely vegan hotel in an old castle. Has recently opened in 2021. We went here for one night.
Read moreOur room at the ahead hotel (Deluxe room #2 in the castle, view to the garden with the fountain) was large, clean and nicely furnished. It was very quiet at night, which was very positive.
All rooms are sustainable and have ecological wooden furniture.
😱😍The best at the hotel: The breakfast buffet. Everything is vegan and you have really a lot of choice: Different kinds of yogurt, cheese (e.g. Happy Cheeze), cold cuts, scrambled tofu, porridge, fruits, muesli, different kinds of milk, salad, waffles, rolls (also wholemeal), bread.
Dinner at the "Place to V" restaurant was also good. Everything was delicious and the food came quickly.
At noon, cake is offered. These also tasted yummy.
By the way, you can eat at the hotel even if you are not a hotel guest.
A pretty, naturally kept castle garden invites you to take a walk. You can do a lot in the area if you like natural surroundings.
Tip sightseeing: A visit to the "Bärenwald Müritz" (bear sanctuary) Müritz of Vier Pfoten (about 1 hour by car)! Here abused bears find a home forever. 🐻
Dogs are allowed at the hotel and in the bear sanctuary.

Lovely hotel, all vegan food and lots of other sustainable features like vegan pillows, special toilet paper etc. Each room has a yoga mat and there are yoga and meditation classes in a wonderful little hut. We loved the restaurant and the vegan breakfast: plenty of options like waffles, spreads, fruit, rolls and croissants. Highly recommend this place!

Nice surroundings - Edit
Nice basic hotel with a sustainable mindful concept. All wood furniture and yoga mat on the room. Our room was ok but the bathroom really small with not enough room such as an additional shelf to place all your stuff. It is very quite outside. There are a lot of guests which do a stopover on their bike trip along the Elbe. So the guests are mostly not vegan and come their by accident as it is not promoted as a vegan place (which I like). There is a lot of beautiful nature around and it is highly recommended to rent a bike or ebike to take ride along the Elbe.
