I had fairly high expectations and ended up a little disappointed. The pizza was okay — good in terms of flavor, but the crust was rather underwhelming.

Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the atmosphere. The loud techno music and cafeteria-like vibe just didn’t do it for me.

The pizzas were absolutely delicious, but the service was unfortunately a bit chaotic (about an hour to get our dessert, the table next to us had to ask for their drink like 3 or 4 times)

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. So many options at this busy plant-based pizzeria in Berlin. Very friendly staff - including waiter who brought out blankets for the cold! Can’t wait to try some more of the menu down the line.

Best vegan pizza I’ve ever had - Edit
Wow! I had not had a proper Italian pizza in a while (essentially since going vegan) and this place really hit the spot. So yummy! And the cheese was not sticky which happens with most vegan pizzas. Rave Dave pizza was delicious. Bonus points for the espresso martini which was very good. This will probably become my go to pizzeria whenever I am back in Berlin

Decadent pizzas, delicious Caesar salad - Edit
This place gets a lot of hype and it is indeed very good. The dough is a bit thin underneath the toppings but the crust is great. There are a lot of really unique combinations - we liked the rosemary potato pizza and spicy diavolo the best. I thought I would like the truffle cream one but it was just far too creamy for me - still, others might appreciate that! Honestly, my favorite thing was actually the Caesar salad, which was delightfully creamy without being too heavy.

Der Teig war bombastisch. Dünn unter dem Belag, dicker, fluffiger Rand mit himmlischem Geschmack. Ich hätte auch nur den Rand essen können.
Dazu dann noch mitserviertes, sehr leckeres Knoblauchöl. Ein wirklicher Gaumenschmauß, diese Pizzen.
Die Preise für die Pizzen sind absolut fair! Nur Trinken ist schon sehr teuer.

Came here for dinner on my first night in Berlin. Had the eggplant parmigiana and the Billie pizza. Both were delicious. The pizza is large, dinner plate size, so I couldn’t finish the whole thing with the other dish.

Great Neapolitan Pizzas - all vegan - Edit
The pizzas on the menu all sounded delicious. I chose the Billie Pizza with zucchini, eggplant, vegan cheese, pesto, tomatoes and olive oil. I tasted very good. I also liked the atmosphere in the restaurant with some chill techno music playing quietly in the background.

Die Vorspeise „Parmigiana“ schmeckt leider überwiegend nach gesalzenem Tomatenmark. Überhaupt, war die Masse eigentlich Tomatenmark mit etwas Aubergine. Der Preis von 12,90€ ist meiner Meinung nach dafür nicht angemessen. Das neapolitanische Brot dazu haben wir erst gar nicht bekommen, fällt mir gerade beim bewerten auf.
Read moreZur Pizza muss ich leider auch kritisch schreiben: die 5 Cheese feat. Formo schmeckt leider einfach nur nach Ersatzstoffen. Der Hauptgeschmack ist chemischer Ersatz-Sauerrahm. Sehr schade. Denn veganer Käse-Ersatz muss so nicht schmecken.
Der Teig soll ja locker und nicht kross sein. Das ist Geschmacksache, aber gefühlt halb roh schmeckt es mir dann wirklich nicht.
Wie so oft kann ich die hochgehypten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Nur weil es vegan ist, was toll ist, ist es nicht herausragend. Irgendwer vor mir schrieb, ob es in Berlin bessere vegane Pizza gibt. - Ja, eindeutig gibt es einige bessere vegane Pizzen in Berlin. Nur nicht Hippster.
Zu den Getränken nun noch die Kritik: Getränkedosen im Restaurant finde ich nicht klimagerecht!
Der Service war sehr lieb. Darum einen Stern mehr.
Überarbeitung meiner Bewertung nach der Antwort auf meine ursprüngliche Bewertung: ein Stern Abzug für den schlechten Umgang mit Tatsachen. Schade das Ehrlichkeit nicht geschätzt wird. Mag sein, dass nicht mit chemischen Ersatzstoffen gearbeitet wird. Schmeckt aber so. Mir war heute Morgen immer noch übel davon. Mag sein, dass kein Tomatenmark benutzt wird, schmeckt aber so. Hab ich nicht alleine so festgestellt.
Übrigens schrieb ich heute die Bewertung für gestern Abend. Eben heute ist aufgefallen, dass das Brot fehlte. Sollte ich also heute zur Kellnerin kommen und etwas dazu sagen? Ist die Kellnerin auch verantwortlich für die Zusammenstellung der rauszubringenden Speisen? Wenn ja, verstehe ich die Argumentation des 1. Arbeitstages. Wenn nein, dann wäre es Aufgabe der Küche gewesen.
Wie auch immer, ich hatte eh nicht vor, diesen Laden noch einmal zu betreten.

For the bread: just a little hint to the waitress, whom had her very first working day with us yesterday, and you would have gotten the Neapolitan bread and a heartfelt apology from us. Owner is from Italy.
My waiter was from near Delhi where I been.
Super friendly and we talk in Hindi.

Adorably Themed, Creatively Topped - Edit
In terms of creativity, the pizzas here are absolutely top-notch. The toppings are wonderfully flavourful and creamy, and the crust is delightfully fluffy. However, the base under the toppings is extremely thin, which makes it difficult to pick up a slice without it flopping over. The overall portion also isn’t particularly filling. Still, it's definitely worth a visit. The restaurant’s name and design are absolutely charming.
