A Amarama é uma excelente opção para café da manhã e lanches veganos.

São variadas as opções de salgados, doces e bebidas.
Tudo vegano. Pode escolher sem medo de errar. O difícil é escolher poucos itens em meio a opções tão atraentes.
Experimentei um salgado e um sonho de baunilha acompanhados de suco de laranja.

I had Amarama on my list of "places to go" for a long time, so expectations were high when I finally went there. Thankfully, it did not let me down. The place is small but really cute, with two tables inside and a couple more outside. Staff is super friendly and the menu is extensive and varied, making it difficult to choose what to eat. A note of caution: not all items from the menu are available every day, so make sure to ask before you get your hopes up about something specific (it happened both with my friend and me).
Read moreI ended up ordering three different things to try and get some variety. The grilled ham and cheese on brioche bread was absolutely fantastic. I didn't expect to be blown away by it because it's a rather simple sandwich, but everything about it was so delicious! I had higher expectations for the "sonho", because I didn't have one after becoming vegan and it was one of my favorite pastries as a child. This one was exactly as I remembered it, the taste, the consistency, the mess when eating it... what a treat! Finally, the cookie filled with Nutella was good, but not my favorite thing. I liked that the cookie was really buttery, but it didn't have a lot of filling inside (which was disappointing because the Nutella was very good).
Since it was Easter, they had a special menu for orders, so I took two Easter eggs home to try. Oh my. I wish I had bought more. One was filled with "doce de leite" and chocolate cookies, really good. The other one was filled with white chocolate and red velvet cookies, and it was even better! Both of them were quite sweet, just the way I like it. Definitely buying more next year.

Amazing pastries, best we had in Brazil - Edit
We had a delicious cinnamon scroll and a guava jam scroll, as well as custard filled pastry. They also have a good selection of coffee, a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff (we met the owner and her husband). It’s in a safe leafy area with other vegan cafes and restaurants nearby.

Na minha opinião, melhor cafeteira vegana da cidade. Tem de tudo do doce ao salgado, bolo, cheesecake, misto quente, pão de queijo e agora no Natal um chocotone delicia. Melhor ainda, petfriendly.
