Such a find - Edit
I am so glad HappyCow lead me to Amrutha lounge. The combination of incredible food and friendly owners makes this place a treat to visit. and they do everything - Indian, Thai, tea, smoothies, cakes. I wanted to stay all day but had this thing called work to do. So I'm going back tomorrow.

Read moreIt's easy to get to (near Earlsfield station), the decor is nice, it's ridiculously cheap, the owner/cook is the friendliest person you'll ever meet and the food is OUTSTANDING.
The menu was being redone, but they had a daily set meal of either Indian or Asian (Thai) and the Indian was perfect. Plenty of it too and the food was topped up. Just fantastic.
You can go for lunch, dinner or to collect a takeaway box.
I'm going to be here A Lot!
Pros: Delicious Food, Friendliest Owner/Cook, Ridiculously cheap
Cons: It's not next door to me.

Great addition to the Earlsfield vegan scene - Edit
We called in for Sunday lunch and had an excellent set meal of lentil and sweet potato curry with salad and pakoras, followed by a shared dessert of chocolate brownie and vegan ice cream. All the flavours were interesting and the food seemed very fresh, without excessive oil or salt. The brownie was succulent, unlike some vegan cakes that can be on the dry side.
Read moreThe coffee machine was still being commissioned, but herb tea was thrown in with our meal. The whole (generously proportioned) meal for two people came to less than £30 which is pretty amazing in London.
The cafe has a relaxing atmosphere with comfortable, modern decor. The people were very welcoming too. Looking forward to my next visit. With Vegan Express up the road, Earlsfield is becoming a destination for vegans.
Pros: Excellent vegan food with Indian influences, Friendly atmosphere, Generous portions and reasonable pricing
Cons: Not much choice yet, but that's because it's new
