Momo, more like gogo to this restaurant! - Edit
We both thoroughly enjoyed the vegan thali set with fried momos! Excellent sized portions, they had to roll us down the hill afterwards.

Nice selection of vegan food - Edit
The food tasted good, service was friendly, although they accidentally brought an egg soup, which they immediately took back when we told them only vegan food on this table.

Delicious food, lots to choose from - Edit
One of Folkestone's most popular restaurants for good reason. The authentic Nepalese cuisine has a range of textures and tastes and luckily for us includes a lot of traditionally vegan options, which are clearly labelled on the menu. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable if you have any queries. If you've not had Nepalese before it has some similar dishes and flavour profiles to Indian food but it has its own unique foods and flavours, including the famous momo dumplings which can be enjoyed in a variety of ways - deep fried with a crispy shell, softly steamed, or served in a soup.
Read moreThere's a whole section of vegan starters and for me this includes some of the best dishes on the menu. Pani Puri is a fun and flavourful street food which is served as round Puri (deep fried flat bread) that you then crack open to fill with a delicious spicy potato and onion mix and drizzle with tamarind sauce. It's a fun communal eating experience - everyone seems to have their own way of cracking them open! Aloo nimki is a creamy potato sauce coating soft cooked vegetables with crispy crumbled wheat crackers stirred through, making every bite an interesting experience. While the curries, daals etc that I've had have all been well cooked and tasty it's the momos and these street food dishes that make me want to keep going back to Annapurna as I work my way through the menu to find more interesting, tasty dishes to try.
