Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant serving local French cuisine with one labeled vegan vegetable plate which varies according what is available in the garden. Open Tue-Sun 12:00-14:00, Tue-Sat 19:00-22:00.
Closed Mon.
The ambience is very nice, especially the outside area. The vegan dishes were not marked on the menu so we asked the staff, who had to ask in the kitchen. They were very helpful, kind and English speaking.
There was just one vegan main dish, one which could be veganized. Same with starters and desserts.
I can still recommend the place since the food was very tasty and the atmosphere was so nice!
Had a main dish and a dessert. So good!
This place was right beside where we were staying and I was pretty excited to try as their produce (at least the veg side of things) comes from their gardens. The restaurant is very nice and, when we got the menu, there were options for a vegan starter, main and dessert. None were actually vegan but needed to be modified. The starter was a bowl of spiced vegetables in sauce. On the menu, it came with cheese but indicated it could be veganised by the removal of cheese. My waiter spoke English and was clear I wanted the vegan version. Out it came with the cheese slap bang in the middle. When I queried it, I was asked if I was vegan vegan. Not 100% sure if there is a double version I was unaware of. In any event, it went back and came back with the cheese removed. And I mean, not a new dish, just the cheese taken from the middle of it. It was also a cold dish which was a little off but so be it. The main was some kind of grain risotto in a pumpkin. It was really unpleasant. The risotto was gruel like and the pumpkin was bitter. I didn’t bother with the dessert after all that. A place that grows its own vegetables should have been a shoe in but was just a disappointment. Shame really.
