An Absolute Must! - Edit
Archie’s was highly recommended by a local vegan and we weren’t let down. It was a Tuesday night and the place was packed with a decent waitlist to boot. We had the Tofu Thai Green Curry and it was hands down the best Thai curry either of us has ever had (and being vegan world travelers, we’ve had our share!). The vegetables were fresh and bursting with color, while the addition of jicama was unique and delicious. The curry itself was to die for…a wonderful taste sensation of freshly ground spices and the perfect light touch of sweet to balance the heat. Heaven! Very ample portions…I wish I’d taken a photo. Wonderful vibe and cocktail selection as well. Located in the old town area. We’ll be back again to PV and Archie’s will be at the top of our list! Really…it’s THAT GOOD!!!

Great service and food - Edit
We are vegan and they offered a good selection to please our palates. Service and food quality was exceptional. They do not offer reservations but had a nice place for us to sit and wait. The hostess took our drink order so we had something to drink while we waited.

Great option to share dinner with omnivores - Edit
Visited with family that eat meat and fish. The vegetable section of the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. Check with the staff when ordering as some of the vegetable sauces contain fish or oyster sauce by default. Food was very fresh and tasty. Archie's Wok is a beautiful space with an interesting story, shared in their menu. Very good service here; a popular spot where we needed to wait 30 minutes for a table on Wednesday night.

Quality place with lots of vegan options - Edit
Nice place to go for nice romantic dinner with a garden inside. Bit more expensive but worth it. The staff is aware of what vegan means and is very helpful. I had a tofu lasagna and the do really nice juices.

Fresh Dinner - Edit
Ordered the Filipino eggrolls (veggie option) and coconut soup for starters. Thai curry vegetable stir fry and coconut stir fry rice with veggies. It was all very fresh and tasty. We would definitely go back.

Very knowledgeable staff on what ingredients their dishes and sauces contain. Excellent service--they even noticed and replaced a fallen chopstick within seconds of it hitting the ground! STRONG margaritas!!! Beautiful plating. Filling and moderately priced meal.

Delicious Thai food - nice ambience and vegan-friendly! - Edit
Archie's Wok has a very long and great reputation in Puerto Vallarta, and it's a hit with visitors and insiders. We recommend to come either early or late for dinner, as they tend to get a huge crowd - but it's worth it! Their hours are 2-11 pm. Or: show up to put your name down if there is a wait, have a cocktail at the nearby beach, and then come back to enjoy dinner.
Read moreAs ardent Thai food lovers we were extremely happy with our choice of cucumber salad, Thai noodles and green curry, all very delicious and nicely presented. You can dine on the lovely patio or restaurant, and the wine list is good too. A clear winner!
