Missed the Mark - Edit
Wanted to love this place. It has lots of awesome veggie options on the menu. I'm so sorry to say, it was awful. The chai was the worst i've ever had. Like water with some kind of gross bits of chunky powder floating in it. I saw the women who ordered after me also tasted then threw away their drinks.
Read moreThe avocado sandwich was a two star phenomenon. Very basic no flavor. I didn't want more than a bite.
It's great the outdoor seating area has shade but the plants are all dying.
The bathroom was dirty with nothing to dry your hands.
If you order more than one thing to go, good luck balancing it because you don't get a bag.
The owner is very kind with a beautiful spirit. She just needs a little help and some fresh energy in the place to notice these little things that need attention.

Cute Cafe - Edit
Stopped here during our day trip to Hammondsport. The owner was very knowledgeable about what ‘vegan’ meant. We got the Jerusalem Laffa Sandwich (house made veggie patty with veggies and tomato sauce) along with the Falafel wrap (falafel, hummus, diced peppers and apple). Both were delicious and filling. The falafel is made fresh to order😄

Cute place - awesome falafel wrap! - Edit
We came across this place while staying in Watkins Glen at Farm Sanctuary. This was on a recommended list they provided for us and we are huge fans of cute little coffee shops.
Read moreThey had a few vegan options - just ask the owner. Lots of vegetarian options and most (if not all) can be modified to be made vegan. She has vegan cheese too.
We both decided to get the falafel wrap, as it was made fresh to order and our recommendations raved about it. It was amazing- not just the falafel, but it contained other toppings, like apples, potatoes, and pickles - and they all just worked really well together.
There’s not a lot of vegan options in the area, but even if there were - this place would still be a must stop for this sandwich.

I love to stop here on my way home from Rochester. The artwork is great to look at, and there are some tasty drink and food options, plus the staff are very nice.

Wonderful Vegan Selections - Edit
My husband and I were delighted to find a place in Hammondsport with truly outstanding vegan food and an owner/chef who understood our plant based diet. We had a falafel sandwich for husband, and, because I don't eat gluten, Asnat prepared a delicious apple, tomato, onion and fresh mint salad side for me to have with my four plump and divine falafels. Best falafels ever! Yummy slices of sweet and white potatoes also came with our dish. Asnat is charming and our wait sped by as we relaxed in the comfortable "living room." We also had a special vegan dessert made from sesame seeds and pistachios. Scrumptious! We left with take out lentil soup for our dinner where we're staying. Next time we're in the area, that's where we'll be eating.
