Good coffee. They like sweet stuff - Edit
Coffee is really good here. Both decaff and caffeinated ones. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. Staff is nice and helpful.
Read moreThe food was decent. We had the mushroom sandwich which had a sweet sauce which we were not particularly a fan of. We also shared the pistachio cake between the two of us. The cake was tasty, but extremely sweet.

Loved the ciabatta - Edit
Silly me got there a little late in the day so they’d run out of the sandwiches but I still give them 5 stars because the ciabatta and coffee were both great. Very quiet and peaceful spot to enjoy good food and drinks

Good but small menu - Edit
I was looking for a meal for lunch. I had the tomato soup and avocado sandwich. They were very tasty but not substantial enough to be filling. There were only a few options. But lots of pastries if you’re looking just for a coffee break.

Cosy cafe! - Edit
Sweet, cosy cafe with lovely fresh bakery items. Perfect for lunch or a snack. Had focaccia, ciabatta with various butter and spread options including basil cream and garlic and onion butter. All vegan and delicious!

Perfect for brunch - Edit
I had the brunch set which included a sandwich, a salad and a soup. I really enjoyed it. 4 stars because the service was a bit chaotic and they forgot several things.

Nice option for bread/sandwiches - Edit
Went for the sandwich and soup deal. Felt like there was a lot of sugar/sweetness in most of the items we tried! Also had some of the other buns/ciabatta and found the cake way too sweet. Overall good though!

Hidden away gem!
Read moreOur last day in Seoul and so glad we made the time to come here before our flight!
With many good breads to choose from!
Hidden below the street level it has a lovely atmosphere
We ordered the brunch set with the mushroom sandwich along with the Victorian cake!
The cake was our highlight soft sponge with delicious non coconut tasting cream (not sure what it is made from but it did not have that standard coconut taste) then the raspberry jam to top it off ! Delicious

Good option for breakfast - Edit
I was there 3 times and ordered a breakfast set. A sandwich of your choice, salad and a tomato soup very tasty and you are not hungry after that. The place opens 11:30 AM, however because is next to popular tourist attraction some options get sold out quickly. Once I was around 2 PM and almost nothing was left.

Located below ground floor close to the Anguk Metro station is this gem of a cafe, offering sweet and savory baked goods and great coffee and other warm (or iced) drinks, this is a must visit when travelling to the beautiful city of Seoul.

Sandwich brunch - delicious - Edit
We're currently in Ashville bakery cafe and it's lovely. The decor is reminiscent of hanok interiors but modern, it's clean, smells nice, the staff are friendly and the food is good. The toilets are also clean and neat, and smell nice.

The biggest cake slices ever - Edit
A spacious vegan café/bakery. Honestly, looking at pictures online, I wasn't sure if it would be that good (the breads looked very average) but this place really took me by surprise. The iced caramel choco latte is one of the best choco lattes I've ever had, but do be warned it is super sweet. Both the chocolate and victoria cakes were tasty (chocolate was my favourite) and by far the biggest slices I've seen at a café before – sharing one piece with two people is more than enough.
Read moreThe plain breads looked unspectacular. I did get a sandwich though and can only recommend it. It was loaded with mushrooms and a good brunch option. Would come back!
Pros: very generous portions

Ciabatta variety in Seoul - Edit
Stopped by Asheville Bakery Café in Seoul and was excited by the variety of ciabatta bread options. I went with the onion garlic one, but honestly, it wasn’t anything special — a bit underwhelming. I paired it with the tomato soup and a side salad, which were both simple and decent, but nothing that really stood out.
Read moreIt’s a nice place to stop by if you’re in the area and want something light, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.
Pros: Lots of breads
Cons: Not as many sweets or deserts available

Secret spot, My kind of Coffee, and more - Edit
Ashville Bakery was red. Yes red. Fo and check 😝 The coffee was rich flavored, and the the dessert I had was not so sweet which is good for me. I understand their biz stratedgy not telling V or plant-based but wish to see it more proudly to educate people. Next time, I would love to visit to eat foods there too.
