Sharing plates and Fondue were great - Edit
We liked everything on the sharing platter. The staff were really kind and talk everyone through each item. We will be going back. The beers were really nice, especially the Umami one and really recommend Las Hermanas wine

So much love for this place - Edit
Homemade ice tea 7€
Read moreSharing dish tray 1 person 32€
The experience deserves 5 stars from beginning to end. I recommend a reservation.
I was alone - but didn't feel like it. The owner (I think?) was so kind to me. Such a kind human. Explained everything so well and made me feel comfortable. I was able to get the sharing tray for me alone, although it was a litlte much. I still finished everything cuz it's so delicious.
(Only read if you want to know which dishes are served)
Pumpkin soup, carrot on a yoghurt dip, nacho cheese sauce, sliced of watermelon, small couscous (I think?) dish, arancini, aubergine-meatball-tomato stick, scoop of selfmade cashew cheese, little scone with red beet patty and cream, tzatziki-garlicy dip, focaccia slice, noodle-tofu-soup, zucchini slice, nachos/crisp bread on the side, cherry tomatoes, rocket
I can't even begin to start on the single dishes, because with every bite you could taste the love and thoughts behind it. 10/10 recommend this experience. The ice tea was also amazing, but I waited until the ice cube was a little melted because it's very sweet so I would've preferred a little more water in it. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert, but the coconut cream and the pistachio chocolate tart on the neighbour table looked amazing.

Easiest 5-star rating ever - Edit
Read moreWe had the Menu Dessert sharing dish, which includes 12 different types of bites that compete intensely to be the tastiest of them all. We really liked the tartar sauce, the 'meatball', and ... everything else as well. 🙂
The hibiscus, ginger & lemon ice tea with fruit was even better than I had expected. It was actually too intense for me, so I added half a liter of sprinkling water to it for the perfect taste. 😀
Beware of the nachos dish! The potato & carrot cheesy sauce is both addictive and filling. There must have been a hundred nachos on the plate, it was a true festival of nacho heaven!
As for the dessert, what can I say? In the words of my wife: "The dessert is divine." The Eton Mess is a luscious ice cream coupé with very, very tasty lentil whip cream, a scoop of smooth and silky vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup. My wife doesn't like whip cream at all (especially the coconut cream-based version), but she loves this lentil whip cream. 😋
The chocolate pistachio tart ('Fresh pastry from MagPies') is very nice and has an honest, intense taste.
In short: any vegan or non-vegan visiting Europe should eat here, it's THAT good.
Pros: Amazing food , Excellent service, Amazing food
Cons: None

Beautiful vegan restaurant in stunning Bruges - Edit
This place really has heart and it shows in the food and service. We went twice in one summer and had the menu with the sharing tray both times. It's clear that a great deal of thought has gone into everything, from the decor to the flavours and textures on offer. One of the top 3 vegan restaurants I've ever been to!

Absolutely Amazing - Edit
The food here was absolutely fabulous and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We got the sharing platter for 2 and loved everything we had. So many interesting and beautiful flavours, it was a party in the mouth!! The vegan rosé wine we chose was delicious and we made room for a dessert, raspberry cheesecake and lemon meringue pie, both gorgeous!!

Heeeeerlijk - Edit
Ik had de maaltijd etagère. Ik twijfelde of ik het menu moest nemen. Met amuse en voorgerecht erbij. Niet gedaan. Ik zat echt vol maar die zagen er ook lekker uit. Leuke bediening. Gezellig restaurantje. Echte aanrader in Brugge waar er weinig vegan keuze is.

Delicious tapas etagere - Edit
Update:
Read more- Nov 2024 & Jan 2025 - another lovely dinner
- Visited again at the end of 2023 and May 2024, always a delight 😊
Great food, friendly service, nice place.
Can get loud when full.
We always take the etagere, as it has a great selection of dishes, and is different every time.
The Eton Mess dessert is delicious!
One annoying thing: people smoking on the front terrace, and the smell of cigarettes entering the resto.
Update:
Visit Summer 2023:
Has moved. The new location is also very nice, has more of a 'restaurant' feeling.
Again, had a nice dinner. Entree, tapas etagee and dessert for 40€.
Friendly service.
Advised to make a reservation (although that wasnt really clear - got no confirmation through the online reservation system, and the phone doesnt get answered - apparently no phone reception in the resto).
Small step to get in. Didnt see an accessible toilet. Toilets clean, with individual towels. And LOVED the tiles on the wall!

2020-08
The menu only offers a handful of light options (eg nachos with dip), as this is primarily a wine bar. We chose the vegan etagère for two (32€) and it was magnificent! With homemade vegan cheezes, lasagne, avocado spread, a small glass of soup, bread, fresh vegetables and much more.
More than enough for the two of us.
For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse (made with aquafaba) with whip (5€). Nice!
Beautiful decor in an old historic building in the city centre of Bruges. It used to be the painting studio (atelier) of painter Flori Van Acker in the 19th century, hence the name.
On selected dates also live music and art exhibitions.
Accessibility: One small step to get in, some tables on ground floor. Back seat area is with several steps and toilets are also in the back (steps). Didn't see an accessible toilet.

special place 🌟 - Edit
We enjoyed our dinner at Atelier Flori from beginning to end. We and our dog were greeted very friendly and got a table in a cozy corner. We chose the starter menu, which consisted of an amuse (edamame), starter (portobello mushroom on salad) and the famous sharing dish which offered a great selection of different small foods. As mentioned before the nacho dip is a highlight, but also the arrancini and lasagna stood out! Would definitely recommed going here 😊

Excellent - Edit
We took 2 non-vegan friends who absolutely loved the food. You get a tower from a set menu (changes every 4-5 weeks). A large variety of foods and flavors. I have a nut allergy and the owner pointed out the 1 item with nuts (my spouse ate that). The staff is friendly and helpful. The experience - unforgettable! If we lived in Bruges, we would make it a regular dining choice.
Read moreWe highly recommend this restaurant.
You should make reservations. We did not but had no trouble being seated although I would make a reservation to be sure of seating. The website is in Dutch, which I don't read (my shortcoming, not theirs) , so the hotel called for me to get menu information. All staff speak English so we had no problems once we were there.
Pros: Flavorful food, Friendly owners and staff
Cons: None, The website is only in Dutch which I don't read.

Best vegan restaurant in Brugge - Edit
