Serves meat, vegan options available. A semi-upscale, healthier food restaurant in Bucharest's Old Town. The menu has a number of vegetarian and vegan items, and staff is able to answer questions about ingredients. The size of the dishes vary, so ask. The interior has some doors salvaged from abandoned buildings in the area. Open Mon-Sun 12:00-00:00.

Unexciting - Edit
Got hummus and pita for a starter and the loaded aubergine for main. Hummus was so bland, I can’t tell if it even had chickpeas in it. Pita was a little better but didn’t come with the hummus.
Read moreStuffed aubergine was good but they could have gone a bit lighter on the tahini.
They had a vegan/ veggie section but they listed items that clearly had dairy in it was vegan. Overall overpriced for what we got. Would not return.

Average - Edit
Ok so the food tasted ok, we had a couple of plates and thought they were decent. Reason marked down, ordered some dips, about £10 and just some hummus and babaganoush albeit tasty, just its romania, this is a mental price, and bread not included so extra cost (how can bread not be inlcuded in a dish if dips) sat outside in direct sunlight and not offered inside, main plate was fine but average really, water expensive, just overall a bit of a rip off so wouldnt return

Not worth it - Edit
The place is cosy and the menu seemed interesting but the food wasn’t that great. (Very salty with loads of onions). I ordered a vegan dish with tofu and mushroom that was supposed to have a quinoa base but found out that it was cous cous instead. So be careful when you order if you have any allergies and make it very clear as the waiter won’t ask.

Decent vegan food- vegetables galore - Edit
Aubergine by name and nature- their best food is with aubergine. We had the roasted aubergine, and falafel, the hummus and the mixed vegan plate. We probably could have gone without the mixed plate as it’s basically just a mix of all of the above haha.
Read moreThe restaurant lacks protein options as there are no legumes or meat replacements!
Quick service and you can pay your bill on your phone which is good for splitting in large groups.
Pros: Aubergine , Quick service , Tasty falafel
Cons: Lacks protein

It was fine - Edit
The menu seemed interesting but it tasted very basic and not very unique. Very expensive and small amount of food for the cost. Easy to find better Mediterranean food for less cost nearby.

There were many vegan dishes, from main courses to side dishes and appetisers, but not so many vegan deserts, so they could work on that. But the place is very nice and the people were welcoming! I recommend it!!

Muchas opciones veganas para elegir, también un postre. Comida deliciosa y sana. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque la aplicación no deja ponerlas si el sitio no es vegano del todo.

Cosy interior, not cheap - Edit
Staff spoke English and Menu was available both in Romanian and English.
Read moreWhen ordering, the waiters didn't seem to be particularly well organised. We were asked, while still visibly browsing the menu, if we were ready. The person on the table next to us was asked twice within a minute by different waiters if they were ready to order, while also still visibly looking through the menu.
The interior is well made and cosy.
I had the vegan eggplant dish and my friend had a hummus plate.
The eggplant tasted alright. I enjoyed the different sauces on top. The hummus was very creamy, perhaps too much even. But the taste was good. Both dishes were relatively small and I would have appreciated larger portions.

Out favourite meal in Bucharest - Edit
By far the tastiest meal we had in Bucharest, unfortunately it was our last night there otherwise we would have gone again. Menu is on a tablet so you could click on vegan and it narrowed the menu down to vegan options.
Read moreWe chose the vegan platter and mushroom in a tomato cream sauce with rice. Both astounding meals, so flavourful and lovely presentation.

I loved that there were dishes I can't find somewhere else or cook at home regularly (we're all too familiar with pasta, burgers, grilled veggies)- so the uniqueness was the best part. And there were enough interesting vegan options. #Veganuary

Vegan-friendly option in the old town. - Edit
We tried the vegan platter to share and it was quite yummy.

The tomato sauce was very tasty but it was disappointing to just have three chunks of tofu. Too small for the price.

so-so - Edit
tried the vegan shaksuka - disappointed to find out it's 3 small pieces of raw tofu drenched with good indeed tomato sauce, and the vegan shawarma - very creative yet consisted of few chunks of soy (i think) and eggplant as the "shawarma". It was nice, not more.
Read moresmall portions.
also disappointing - fresh orange juice charged at 25 lei, whereas one of the main courses was 35. They also added 10% tip to the bill while the service was hardly accomodating.
all in all vegan food can be so much better.
Pros: many vegan options , trying hard to be creative
Cons: raw tofu considered a subtitute for shakshuka..., small portions , exaggerated price of juice, lacking service
