Solidarity - Edit
Went here for a 'solidarity meal' (Soliessen) - for that occasion, vegan sweet and savory crêpes on a pay-what-you-want basis, which all the proceeds being donated to a refugee organization. Besides these amazing events, it's a cozy bar well worth visiting.

B-Lage is a great bar run by nice people, it hosts a lot of different events, it's very recommended to check the website!
Read moreOn Tuesday and Wednesday evenings there is always good food for affordable price and the money goes to support different projects.
Every second and fourth Sunday of the month there's a brunch by a group called radikalecker, an all you can eat buffet including a variety of warm dishes, salads, spreads, cakes, desserts, coffee.. very nice and friendly atmosphere! :) and affordable too.

nice bar, hosts Küfas - Edit
This bar next to Sonnenallee S bahn is quite a nice hole-in-the-wall sort of place with some outdoor benches on the street. It's got a political left vibe and does hot drinks as well as alcohol. They often host Küfas (community kitchens) and normally these are vegan/veggie and on a donation basis - with the money going to different groups and causes each time. You can check out stressfaktor.squat.net for the timetable across Berlin.

Vegan People's Kitchen (Voku) on Wednesday Night - Edit
I went there last week and had an delicious vegan Arab meal. A plate full of couscous with flavorful lentils, side salad and some sort of sweet bread all for 3 (or more) euros! The place was packed and they also have nice outdoor seatings. Definitely great place to visit.
