Gourmet tasting menu - OMG - Edit
So, BAK is a beautiful, high-end restaurant in the top of a converted warehouse on the Houthavens, with windows looking out over the Ij river. They have a six or seven course tasting menu which changes daily and can be fully veganised if you let them know in advance that you're coming. They alter some dishes and totally replace others, there's no just taking away the non-vegan ingredient and telling you to be happy with that, they really think it through. They're also very good at knowing which wines and so on are vegan. This is real food as art stuff, incredible and unusual flavours which look so gorgeous you almost don't want to spoil it by eating them. Flowers, sauces like swooshes of paint, it's all just gorgeous, food is taken very seriously here and you'll be under no doubt that you're in a place that really pushes the envelope in terms of what they're trying to do. It's pretty expensive but more than worth it for how special it is.
