Read moreThe food was amazing and sophisticated, but the service was way too slow: it basicallly looks like their project was too ambitious, as if the kitchen was too small or some similar logistical issue - after all I'd have been as happy with less courses. :)

The Restaurant is located in the courtyard. The ambiente is rustic, but nice and spacious. We had the Lasagne with soy Bolognese and the lentil-rice dish both was okay. We also had ginger juice (tasted like it was without sugar), which was surprisingly good.

I had the soup for lunch and it was just a perfect relaxing break in the middle of the day. Very tasty, with delicous roasted bread and hummus, nice jazz music and very friendly staff. Warmly recommended 💚

It's the first restaurant I've tried in Brussels and I'm not disappointed, I even had a big surprise for dessert!
After a 2h30 trip, I wanted a hearty dish, so I took penne with sun-dried tomato pesto, grilled vegetables and black olives.
A good hearty dish to start the day served with a bottle of kombucha.
And for dessert a lemon meringue tartlet which on the slate doesn't impress but when it arrives, the presentation, the taste, the flavors were there. A dessert from a great restaurant.
I even congratulated the cook and the manager for having decided to make the place 100% vegan!
In short, an associative place where life is good!

The place is cool and mainly vegetarian. Unfortunately, there was only one vegan option available on the menu (couscous). I was lucky as they had only 1 portion left - a big portion tho, and it was delicious.

I went on the day that they serve the gourmet 5 course vegan menu (which isn’t served everyday). The food was exceptional. Exquisite flavours. Innovative. Whoever compiled this menu must be on their way to greater recognition.
Read moreThis is not a traditional restaurant. It appears to be open only certain days a week and has different menus on different days. It’s a vegetarian restaurant. The restaurant also has a social mission, hiring people who are low skilled, long term unemployed.
The ambience decor of the place is industrial, artsy and edgy. It’s set in a seemingly derelict courtyard which was lively and relaxed on the day I attended.
Some, but not all, the wines are vegan.
Only downside is that on the day I visited the time between courses was a little too long, albeit the restaurant was at fully occupied.
The food I had here is among the best I’ve ever had. Amazing.

Place is great, laid back, non profit, really friendly people around, and the menu from 2020 is now fully vegan. The choice is always hard among the 4 or 5 dishes proposed!

I liked the service a lot of, it was easy and friendly with no effort or superficial kindness. I wanted to check which dishes are vegan and it seemed to be a usual task for the waiter to check it from the chef to make sure.

Read moreIt is not your usual restaurant. Recyclart is a non profit organisation located in the abandoned train station Brussel-Kapellekerk/Bruxelles-Chapelle. It is a multidisciplinary arts centre and a training centre for wood and metal construction and catering. The train station have been converted into a bar andrestaurant, technical and artistic work spaces, a concert venue, etc.
Menu is changing every week, and because they take part in "Veggie Thursday", they only have vegetarian option on Thursday.
They always offer 1 or 2 kind of sandwiches (4 euros) and 4/5 salads and warm dishes (9-12 euros). It's tasty and quite inventive.
I love the atmosphere and the laid back feeling of that place. You can have tap water for free (which is not common in Brussels) or great beers (more common!).
