The seasonal risotto…get it!! - Edit
The only reason I left off a star is because I know this dish is seasonal and not on the regular menu. But if you’re in town for Comicon and need a delicious vegan/gf dish, go!! There’s a mushroom risotto right now and it’s seriously delicious. Everyone was very friendly as well.

NO VEGAN ENTREES - Edit
Went there twice as a vegan and was able to get the vegan burger option, but only after the second time did I find out that their buns have egg in them. Very nice servers but DO NOT GO AS A VEGAN.

No entree for Vegans; Burger decent though - Edit
There was no vegan entree—disappointing. I had the veggie burger. Get it on sourdough with no cheese or aioli to make it vegan. The quinoa made the “burger” interesting, the bread was good and the pickled onions were fab. The carrot ginger soup was excellent and very worth getting a full size and not just a side like I had with my burger!

Cons: Loud, Bright TVs—so very many!—all over (but sports bar, No vegan entree

Barley & Squash - Edit
I have been in for drinks on a few visits to SD, but this was my first time dining here. We came in on a super busy night with a fairly large party, the place was packed I believe we had a reservation, but not 100% about that. I was so tired and hungry I was just happy to sit down.
Read moreOur waiter was awesome. First he brought us water because we obviously needed it. Then I was seriously too tired to properly navigate the menu so I asked for his help finding something vegan to eat and hoppy to drink. He makes his recommendation and I joyously accept this option as it all sounds amazing. Especially the IPA choice he selected for me. A Blood orange IPA, he said if I didn't love it he would take it back and drink it himself, ok bring it! My food selection was roasted spaghetti squash with tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil.
My drink arrives and it is seriously perfect and delicious. I am a happy girl. Then the food comes and with it I order another of the same IPA. (I will be buying this again) The squash is really good, not overly seasoned or cooked. The roasted tomatoes are flavorful and it is all set off perfectly with the fresh basil on top. The portion is large, I took it back to our room for lunch the next day, and it wasn't too bad cold either. Cold is not a serving suggestion just a necessary hotel room fact.
Overall the food was amazing, the staff was awesome, and the place is fun and cool. Check them out you will not be disappointed.
Pros: Helpful staff, Accomodating
Cons: limited options

Good, but needs more options - Edit
This is a nice sports bar, but I’d like if the menu had more vegan options. I had a salad without the cheese, which was good, but it seemed like modifying salads or having the one vegan dinner option was the only choice.
