Pink Vegan Ramen is king - Edit
I had their Pink Vegan Ramen with extra Egg and Bamboo shoots and it rocked my world! They use wood ear fungus which I'd never even heard of and now want to try and find back home. The broth tasted like a rich red Thai curry. Top notch stuff.

Read moreThe cold beet ramen was beautiful and refreshing. The hot tom yum ramen was spicy and tasted amazing. Both are solid options but I preferred the tom yum.
It’s nice and cool inside so a great place to escape the heat! Highly recommended.

We went to Bassanova Kyoto for our last dinner in Kyoto - saw the good reviews and weren't disappointed.

You order via a automated screen at the front door, we chose large noodles and green onions - glad we chose the large noodles, as it made the portion size really filling.
Highly recommend.

This place is super lovely. The staff greeted us, helped us navigate the machine to English and made sure to know where to find the fully vegan menu. A the green curry was really flavourful and was exactly what I wanted that day

I had the green curry ramen (the beet ramen was sold out). You order on a screen in the entrance. Bright location, no windows, not very cozy. Food was spicy, came fast, rolling stones music, relaxed atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the meal and it was easy to order for English speakers. Be careful what you wear if you’re ordering beet ramen - it’s quite difficult to eat without splashing a bit, so don’t put on your favourite white T-shirt!

Vegan Green curry ramen was honestly so good!! The chef and staff were friendly and helped us order through the machine. We really enjoyed the meal, it was tasty and filling with some small pieces of mock chicken.

Read moreThere are two vegan options that you can have either warm or cold. You order at a machine at the front where you can also order extra noodles or add ones. It's multi-lingual and takes cash as well as card.
I got the green curry ramen for ¥1,400 with extra bamboo sprouts for ¥200. The broth was super delicious and in general it was a filling meal! I think it could've been a tad cheaper for what it was, but it's by no means expensive.
