This place was amazing. Been a long time since I’ve had proper vegan soft serve. And all the omnivores I was with agreed that the vegan matcha was the best. Went here two times in two days. It’s a bit expensive but they pay their workers a living wage and healthcare.

Best Ice Cream Sandwich! - Edit
This place was a go to for me before becoming vegan and I am happy to report nothing has changed! They consistently offer multiple vegan soft serve flavors and most of their toppings (including hardshells) are vegan! If you are looking to splurge on a great vegan sweet treat get the Crunchy Sammie. It’s a vanilla soft serve between two sugar cookies that are half dipped in dark chocolate and their signature cornflake streusel. And it’s vegan!! Not to mention completely delicious. They also offer specialty Sammie flavors that are often vegan too. I will definitely be trying the rest of the vegan Sammie flavors as I go back. My one note: since they offer vegan oatmilk vanilla soft serve and a root beer float on their menu I wish they would add coke floats so I could get a vegan coke float too, so Big Softie if you can hear me please add coke floats to your menu!

I was so excited to try this place. Numerous vegan options, including both chocolate and vanilla oat milk ice cream. They even have vegan hard shell, just like the magic shell of my youth! And so many vegan toppings! I got peanut crunch. So good. Went twice in one week!

We are back to Big Softie and as always, still love it so much. The vegan, non-dairy flavors they have are delicious soft serves. You typically don’t find that but it’ll still even be good for the non-vegan folks!!!

I can here on a Friday night close to 9, and there was a line that wrapped around the block. Luckily, it did move pretty quickly. There are a lot of vegan options. They had two vegan soft serve flavors, oat milk vanilla and matcha, and two vegan sorbets, pineapple and strawberry. I got a petite swirl of the vanilla and matcha with a chocolate hardshell and strawberry cheesecake crumbles on a cake cone. It came out to $7. It was delicious. My one gripe is that the matcha was identical to the vanilla flavor-wise.

They have expanded the vegan flavors to four. They have twice as many vegan flavors than dairy! As of august 2023 they are oat vanilla, matcha, cantaloupe sorbet, and lavender lemonade. I’ve tried all but the sorbet and they’re great.

I got their vegan vanilla oat milk soft serve on a cake cone with a hard chocolate shell and corn flake streusel and holy moly what a great combo! I also tried my partner’s Thai iced tea vegan soft serve and that was incredibly flavorful as well.

soft serve… oh how i missed my beloved. until NOW!! big softee had 3 vegan flavors (thai tea, mango, and vanilla) and a variety of veg toppings. i got a small vanilla (which was enough to share) with pink praline topping. SOOO good.

Came on a warm, sunny Sunday around 1:30. We got the masala chai (limited time vegan special) with cornflake streusel and a vegan root beer float. Both were so yummy! The chai was such a great, subtle favor, and a classic root beer float always hits the spot.
Read moreThey regularly have a vegan vanilla and strawberry flavor, then lots of different topics with about half (if not more) being vegan. Then both of their float options can be made with vegan vanilla.
Overall, highly recommend when you need an ice cream fix!
