A little different but still good - Edit
It was the second time I went to eat here, the first time was about three years ago. The vegan options is still on the menu but they seem to have changed the recipe for the vegan meat balls. They were still good though. You can now choose from different dips but I am not sure if all of those are vegan so I decided to go for chimichurri since it's a safe option and was the 'original' dip in the old menu.
Read moreIt is nice that they offer a vegan option on their new menu but more variety would certainly be good! The metal scene is not all about meat anymore and this place should reflect that I think.

Black Dog is okay - Edit
This metal bar is always bustling and the ambiance is expectably crowded. The food was good, the bean balls were well seasoned and the sidings were generous. But with just one option, rest assured their focus is still far from taking animal liberation in consideration. Kitchen closes at midnight, though the venue (like the bar) remains open till 5am. An important note: the staff informed us their menu should change in the near future, though the vegan option should remain in it.

Metal bar/restaurant with 1 vegan option - Edit
If you're not a metalhead this may not be for you, but if you are I can recommend it. The decor is awesome and the played music was mostly death and black metal when I was there, which I personally enjoyed a lot. The music is played only in the bar though, so it is much less loud in the restaurant part. The place is pretty committed to serving meat, but at least there are some vegetarian and one vegan option that is pretty good. Obviously they offer a big variety of (alcoholic) drinks. While I've seen many metal bars, this is the only metal restaurant I've encountered yet, and they have a vegan option, which is pretty much all you can ask for at such a place. Portion size is also rather big (the vegan dish is served with lots of fried potatoes).

Pros: Metal restaurant, Decor, Friendly staff
Cons: Only one vegan option, Specializes in serving meat
