Ohhh my god I knew I wanted to eat here since researching our trip months ago, as its one of the only fully vegan places, and I'm SO glad we made a reservation! Definitely recommend reserving (on Google or their website, or maybe Facebook too not sure) as they were busy and not accepting anyone without a reservation. The staff are just absolutely brilliant, so friendly, and it's such a welcoming environment. It's BEAUTIFUL inside, the decor is just gorgeous. Loads of twinkly lights, candles, flowers and plants, which just creates a really lovely atmosphere. We got a bagel each and shared them (the blackbird and the pate) and each was unbelievably delicious. We got a side of tofu scramble which was tiny (it was only a side) but INCREDIBLE...I asked for tips on how to improve mine as it was soooo good! We also shared a ham and cheese croissant which was so yummy too. The bagels were outstanding though!!!!!

Great menu with a variety of different breakfast and lunch options. We had the avocado toast and the soup of the day and they were both very tasty and well presented. The bread is delicious, fresh and crusty on the outside.
Read moreThey don’t have many tables and seem to be very popular so book in advance if you can. The kitchen closes around 2pm, if you don’t have a reservation your best bet is to go around 1.45 to see if there are some free seats and get in last orders. Good luck!

Easily the best vegan experience in Bruges, I love this place. Beautiful decor, super friendly staff and a wonderful vegan menu. I booked a table a few weeks before and glad I did as they were fully booked on the day. We had an amazing breakfast of tofu scramble and avocado on toast. They were presented beautifully and tasted divine. A must visit.

I really enjoyed it and so did my partner! She is 100% vegan and she could choice anything she wanted from the card. The restaurant was 100% vegan! It was very difficult to get a table, you had to book 1 day in advance. I ordered the blackbird brunch, which had yoghurt, bread, coffee, ‘egg’, avocado, fruitsalad and more. Also the staff was great. Only minor point was the price/portion ratio, it was a little bit too high for the portion. Just a little bit. But quality food 5 stars, staff 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was vegan!! The staff was also very nice. The lady even gave me suggestions for vegan dinner places as I was new to Bruges, visiting. I really enjoyed my meal and my coffee. It was creative and plentiful.

The food was lovely, coffee was great and were friendly and helpful. Was given a list of recommendations of places to try which helped us out loads. Will definitely visit again if I’m ever in Bruges again. You will need to book though for breakkie or lunch as it gets full before the day.

Verse pompelmoessap en lekkere koffie.
Gezellig interieur, voldoende ruimte waardoor je niet op elkaar gepropt zit.
Buiten ook enkele tafeltjes.
Warme uitbaatster, die graag een praatje maakt met haar klanten over vegan eten/zijn.
Aanrader, we komen terug.

We visited Blackbird on a Saturday morning, it was calm and the food was delicious. There are many breakfast choices, everything is plant based. I had the coconut Berry pancakes and they were very good!

Schönes Ambiente, super leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Das Personal ist mega nett und kommt auch in stressigen Situationen gut hinterher. Wir waren in unserem 5 Tage Trip direkt zwei mal hier essen :)
