Super expérience🤩 : certes, c'est un resto omni, mais les plats vegans proposés sont excellents, et il y a des options vegans pour un repas entier, entrée plat et dessert 🙂
Read moreEn entrée nous avons partagé à deux une tempura de légumes qui venait d'être faite, très chaude et fondante.
En plat, mon ami a pris un mafé vegan avec du riz, un plat avec un goût prononcé de cacahuète grillée, des légumes, une sauce très goûteuse.
J'ai pris un Yassa Vegan avec de l'attieke (semoule de manioc), je recommande ce plat, il est très doux, cale bien mais sans être pesant. Les saveurs du Yassa étaient très apaisantes et l'attieke a une texture fondante.
En dessert nous avons partagé un moelleux vegan au cacao et à la noix de coco, il avait un goût très complet.
Tout était copieux, et le service était rapide malgré les tables complètes.
La partie épicerie vaut le détour aussi car ils vendent des livres de cuisine ainsi que des spécialités.
J'ai joint une photo de mon Yassa Vegan, mais je n'ai pensé à la prendre qu'à mi-plat tant c'était bon ! 😊
Le resto est accessible en fauteuil roulant mais pas les toilettes qui sont en sous-sol.

I would have given it five stars if possible. The staff is super nice and open to each request, the place is very small but super cozy and stimulates conviviality and sharing. I tried the mafé it was astonishing, it was my first time trying african food and I couldn't have asked for a better beginning. So flavorful and delicate at the same time, also very filling so I advise you not to order other things as we did😂. we also had the fried plantain, some sweet potato fries and some bissap to go along with it. Bissap was a 10/10, the other sides were nothing to be remembered for but still good.

Bons plats bonne ambiance bon service. Ils prennent aussi à emporter. Nous avons pris les vegan mafé et yassa, les bananes plantins en entrée et les boules veggies. Tout était délicieux et portions très généreuses, je recommande !!

Un accueil très agréable dans cette charmante cantine qui propose plusieurs plats complètements véganes : le fameux mafé (mon préféré), le yassa, la salade "Durban Vegan" et il me semble que la salade "Healthy Bangui" l'est aussi.

Has several well-marked vegan options - I had the Vegan Mafe (peanut curry), then came back the next day and had the Yassa vegan (a vegetable stew with cabbage). Both were really tasty, and you got a really good amount of hearty, filling food. The atmosphere was also really nice and down to earth - friendly, helpful staff, laid back, and interesting Malian art on the walls. It was also really easy to navigate for someone who doesn't speak great French, with an online menu and very patient and understanding staff, and it's close to Gare du Nord where Eurostar goes from. Strongly recommend!

Read moreFor starters we had Afro Veggie Tempura which were deep fried vegetables with tasty and hot sauce. On the spot made extra hot chili sauce is available on the table if you like your food even hotter.
We also tried Le Mafé Vegan, a classic Senegalese peanut stew. It tasted very good but there was no vegan protein (such as tofu) in place of meat, only vegetables.
For drinks we chose Healthy Bissab (hibiscus juice) and Boisson au Baobab (drink made from baobab fruit). Both were very sweet in taste, maybe even a bit too much. No extra cost for water.

Read more• The menu is given in a tablet (so you clearly see pictures and descriptions too). The order is not taken with the tablet, they come to take it.

The food was so, so, so good. Unfortunately it is not possible to give 5 stars as the restaurant is not fully vegetarian/ vegan. I had Le Mafé Vegan which was rice, (sweet) potatoes, tomatoes some other vegetables and caramelised peanuts. I ordered it with UberEats and the portion was quite big so that I had leftover for the next day. Perfect!

So happy to have found a place with vegan mafé and jassa! The mafé with attieké was great, their spicy sauce truly spicy and there is a vegan dessert option as well. Very good price/quality ratio, will definitely eat here again.

I love coming here to eat vegan versions of yassa and mafe. The restaurant has a very hipster feel to it, they sell lots of teas and stuff around the walls. The food is excellent and its not too expensive. I highly recommend if youre looking to try something new. They also have a big variety of bissap juice and many other interesting juice and tea drinks to choose from.

Our mixed family (Omni, veg, & pescatarian) enjoyed our lunch at this stylishly decorated restaurant. The favorite stew was the peanut one. It was a delight to get to try a new cuisine at this spot, and the server was friendly and accommodating and made a special dish for my 3 year old. The food was fresh and special. The restaurant also sells cookbooks, spices, and ingredients in case you want to try at home! Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu.

Food is tasty and has several vegan options. Its rare to get African food in a vegan way. The drinks are not cheap (4 Euros) but you get tap water for free.
