Open every Saturday and Sunday from 13h00 for a 5 course, country-styled, fully vegan Buffet lunch in a tranquil and beautiful environment. Family friendly with a playground for children. Hidden Vegan Gem 💎 - Edit
After a long day hiking Robberg Nature Reserve we felt very hungry and explored this hidden gem. It was easy to get there by car and the place was really amazing. 6 friendly dogs said hello as we went into to room. Also the owners were really nice and showed us the buffet including soups, pizza, pasta, curry, deserts and many more. It was a lot for around 9€ per person. We want to go back!

An oasis in carnivorous South Africa - Edit

we were lucky to get some early lemon muffins (30R) which were amazing! I'm sure the buffet would be great, but the opening times online are confusing and hence we missed it.

Vegan experience of a lifetime! - Edit
I'd put the weekend harvest buffet on every vegan's "must eat" list. Seriously, one do the best meals of my life and my carnivorous friends agreeed as well. The only problem is there is too much to try everything and therefore I didn't devote enough effort to the dessert bouquet. It's like going into your favorite vegan restaurant and ordering one of everything on the menu, and it gets replenished. And everything was so delicious, nourishing, flavorful, diverse and full of love. The atmosphere matches the quality of the food and it's truly a place of serenity and relaxation. I went out of my way to eat at this place on my travels through South Africa and I recommend you do too. Worth every penny and every bite beyond fullness.

An amazing experience - Edit
I was so happy to find Bocca Dolce, it is so gorgeous and sitting outside on a nice day it is so peaceful and beautiful. The options on the vegan buffet are endless and it is truly a vegans paradise. I highly recommend this restaurant. We paid R190 pp for the all you can eat Saturday lunch harvest table and warning...Go hungry! There is also a mini lunch buffet on week days and breakfast options in the morning which we are excited to try when we visit again.

The best vegan restaurant in South Africa? - Edit
I went to Bocce Dolce in December 2015 and again in 2016. I still think this might be the best vegan restaurant in South Africa. They offer an all you can eat vegan buffet and also have items for sale on a set menu. The buffet has a HUGE variety of different vegan meals. Probably the best part about Bocce Dolce is the friendly and passionate staff working there (ask them to show you their vegan tattoos which they are very proud of!) It is clear their heart is in the right place and veganism needs more people like them in the movement.

vegan buffet every lunch except mondays. many cold bar and bread options with an additional hot dish option which changes every day. on sundays bring your elastic waist pants! full hot buffet as well as the cold bar. steak pies, currys, soup, kebabs, pastas etc. its the best vagan pastry ive ever had. sunday is advisable to book in advance. they also have a juice bar and vegan cakes. they grow their own organic produce on the estate.

Tasty vegan food and great atmosphere! - Edit
A couple of months ago Bocca Dolce got a new chef and since then the food is so great and very tasty! They keep adding new features to the building and gardens, there is now a beautiful outdoor area great for functions, a playground for children, a Khoi pond and for the cold days they have a fireplace inside where you can sit right in front of it on a cosy couch.

Amazing and Delicious - Edit
This place is just wonderful! The whole building and gardens are beautiful, with a charming italian flair. The food is delicious, I visited twice for the lunch-buffet and was just blown away from the freshness and the amazing quality of the food! Sooo many vegan options, and not just salad, but proper vegan comfort-food:) I even convinced my meat-eating friends to try the food, and although they where very sceptic before, they where absolutely stunned by how tasty and delicious the food was. A great place for everyone!
