Excellent breakfast with espresso - Edit
We ate a chocolate croissant and a New York roll filled (the raspberry is vegan, the other one isn't vegan). There're other vegan choices, also salty.
Read moreThe espresso was a really espresso, but a little bit bitter (for us).
Cute spot😄
Prices are 5$ for a plain croissant (it's big), 10$ for the NewYork roll but also is very big and fabulous!

So tasty! - Edit
What a fantastic cafe! I had the chocolate almond croissant, matcha latte, and decaf iced latte. The croissant was exceptional, gooey on the inside, crispy on the outside…so filling I took 1/2 with me for dessert that night. The matcha is unsweetened which I love; but you could get it sweetened. Coffee was perfect. Alternative milks awesome.

C'est magnifique - Edit
It is on 320 W Cedar, San Diego in the little Italy area. They have a backrow of vegan croissants ranging from sweet ( chocolate, buttery, raspberry) and savory (spinach and feta, pesto). They were phenomenal. I ate the normal croissant so fast I forgot to get a picture. Coffee is available with oat milk and other non dairy. They also have decaffeinated for those who have caffeine processing issues like me!

Vegan Croissants. - Edit
3/1/24: Bonjour now has a storefront in Little Italy! The shop has multiple labeled vegan options (ask - last time, a few had not been put out yet either) and drinks with non-dairy milk.

Bonjour Patisserie has the best French vegan pastries in San Diego, without a doubt. Everything is fresh and so delicious. My personal favorites are their croissants, which are flakey and perfectly buttery. Seriously, I dream of the chocolate and cream cheese/pepper filling. I honestly thought I did not like croissants until I had one from Bonjour.… then I realized I just had never had a good one. Since I started buying their goods, they have greatly expanded their vegan options (danishes, small desserts, etc.) and frequent vegan pop-ups, which I love to see. Support local!

The best vegan pastries in SD - Edit
We’re lucky to have a few vegan & vegan-friendly bakery options here, but Bonjour is definitely the best of them all! The croissants are our favorite, specifically the almond ones. I’ve always preferred plain croissants, but these are SO unbelievably delicious, they’re absolutely a must-try. We stop here anytime we’re at the Saturday farmer’s market!

Vegan croissants rock!! - Edit
I was able to try their plain croissant and chocolate custard pastry at the Barrio Logan Vegan food pop-up yesterday. They had a huge line when I arrived! Buttery, flaky, voluptuous croissants and rich chocolate pastries… just amazing. I hadn’t had a croissant since I went vegan and couldn’t take my eyes off of their shop stand until I grabbed one. Please support this business.

this is truly the best pastries i have had since going vegan. - Edit
this is the best bakery i have ever had. i order four vegan chocolate croissants a week, and add on depending on what they have that week. i have tried their vegan flan, chocolate tart, and raspberry tart, all to die for. their bread is also insanely good. you can preorder on their website, and they are always at the hillcrest farmers market, and sometimes at the vegan markets on friday’s and saturday’s! they also offer non-vegans items as well!

Tres bien! - Edit
Top marks from me (HappyCow doesn't allow 5 stars for non-vegan businesses though). I ordered for pickup and was able to get a box with vegan croissants, an almond croissant, a chocolate croissant, an apple danish, and a baguette with butter and jam. All delicious, all lovely texture, all very authentic. My family also ordered some non-vegan items and Romain (the owner and baker) was very friendly and made sure to keep the non-vegan items separated. I really appreciated that. BEST vegan croissant I have had.

Excellent croissant - Edit
You could serves their croissants to the pickiest anti-vegan a-hole you know and they would never know it was vegan.
