Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere - Edit
The food here is second to none, everything we ate was beautifully created and presented well. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We went on a Wednesday evening in November but the restaurant was still busy, whilst still having a calm vibe.

This was my favorite vegan meal while in Brighton. The chicken skewers, carrot tar tar, and cauliflower were standouts (plus the chocolate ganache!) Thoughtful, creative menu that feels fresh and updated. I could have eaten loads more of those char grilled “chicken” skewers!

Fully plant based restaurant in Brighton with great choice of small plates! We love going here and we always leave satisfied and full! would recommend to anyone who is craving some umami flavours and sweet/salty combo known in Asian cuisine!

wow, possibly the best vegan restaurant we have ever been to. Every plate was fantastic, we were obsessed with the tempura sea bream and the pork spring rolls. We ordered way too much, ate it all, and regretted nothing.

Busy restaurant - book to ensure a table.
We didn’t receive one of the dishes we ordered so asked for it to be removed from the bill. Didn’t realise until after paying that it wasn’t removed.
Service charge is added to the bill. Ask to remove if you want to add your own tip - or not tip.
Pros: Food tastes good, Nice venue but small, busy, and loud
Cons: Check your bill so you’re not overcharged, Expensive for portion sizes

Genuinely the tastiest food around. So much choice and perfect portion sizes to try plenty of dishes but also get your moneys worth. Such a treat going here and also a really nice drink selection including great non alcoholic options. I’d recommend the napa cabbage and aubergine but absolutely everything on the menu is unreal 😍

A small yet vibrant Japanese inspired restaurant where you mark the menu with your order and the dishes arrive in the order of cooking, brought over by attentive and personable servers. Delicious food, creatively presented and generously portioned. A great spot for early supper, washed down with warm Saki and good intentions. We have been back a few times and now, in November 2024, it is still thoroughly pleasing customers. The majority of dishes are deep fried so it is good to counterbalance with… sake!

I had the lunchtime set menu for £17. My daughter had the £14 ramen. The starter and main came almost at the same time. A corn on the cob halved and a slider for the main with a small bowl of rice. For me, 3 small tapas plates. Quite expensive for what you got. The ramen was fine.

I apologise if this was not made clear to you before you ordered but we do not follow a traditional 'starter' and 'main' system. We follow a more free flowing, small plate/tapas dining style in which the dishes come out as and when they are ready.

The Best Plant-Based Food - Edit
This is easily the best plant-based food available, anywhere. The taste, texture, and flavour is all superb... It is not so much cooking that goes into this but some inexplicable alchemy. That, and the setting is gorgeous, the staff friendly, and the drinks equally delicious.

Japanese vegan food at its best! - Edit
So tasty, lovely flavours. Great to have a Japanese menu that's all vegan. My husband requires gluten free so struggled a little more as the hot food is all cooked on one grill, whether it's gluten free or not. What he did have though he thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend the crispy tofu and aubergine dishes!
