Good burgers!

Great options for beef style burgers, I found the bakon to be quite tough personally on my bakon and cheese burger but apart from that it was good, option of vegan milkshakes for dessert which was nice!

A crum above average

4 burger options that we're all quite similar (same patty). The burger was nice but for the price I expected a lot more and especially expected some chips with it, instead I had to spend £10 of vegan poutine (which was basic gravy, basic vegan cheese and not exactly hand cut 'proper' chips. It was ok, nothing to get excited about

Pros: Friendly staff, Atmosphere was good, Good location

Cons: Expensive , Charged for ketchup , No chips with burger

Saucy burgers

Good selection of vegan burgers and sides. Burgers have a lot of sauce and flavour. A lot of the sides can be veganised (E.g. vegan bacon fries) One thing to improve would be have these sides as options marked vegan on the menu.

Don’t be put off by the name

This burger bar may be a carnivores hang out, but their vegan range is amazing.
The Caribbean burger and vegan disco fries (cheeze, chips and gravy to most of us) are unreal.
There are several burgers, sides and even milkshakes to choose from.
Highly recommended and not a deep fried mars bar in sight!

Pros: Range of vegan burgers and sides, Service is great and very vegan friendly , Great taste to everything

Cons: Expensive vegan sides

Great vegan burgers

Rounding up from a 3.5; I am always really satisfied here. There are quite a few vegan burgers as well as vegan milkshakes, extra points because we got one on the house last time! I only wish the burgers would come with some salad or something bc it can be quite heavy in flavour, and the presentation is just a burger on a plain plate! But it’s great to feel really catered to as a vegan at a restaurant with “meat” in the name.

Good offering

The burger was very flavourful. The chocolate ice cream shake was unreal. The cheesy chips and gravy was a bit underwhelming. Couldn't taste the cheese.

Pros: Good selection of vegan options, Clearly labelled

Great food

We got two vegan bacon cheese burgers, a vegan poutine with bacon and tater tots to go.
They were all great tasting!
Would definetely order and eat there again. Best burger we‘ve had in Glasgow so far.

Pros: Great vegan Bacon, Portion size is fair, Very generous with pickles

Decent burger

I like the atmosphere of this restaurant a lot and there’s lots of vegan options or options to turn things vegan, such as, with the poutine.
However I felt that my burger was a little bit bland and the bun flaked away. I’ve had better vegan burgers but I still enjoyed my meal. I really liked the vegan poutine side!
I also had a vegan strawberry milkshake and it was amazing! 🤤

Pros: A good amount of vegan options , Easy to turn things vegan , The best vegan milkshake I’ve ever tried

Bland Poutine, but Good Burgers!*

I went for the "Vegan Poutine", and I must say I was disappointed.

Unfortunately, the poutine was very bland overall, the "cheese" curds (of which there were too many) had a very odd taste and texture to them which made the dish hard to stomach, the gravy didn't have much taste either.

On the upside, the portion size was good, and it's always a plus to see vegan options. If I am to return, I'll definitely steer clear of the poutine.

*EDIT:
Re-visited this place with my partner and had a much more positive experience so I've edited my review. I had the B12 burger with vegan cheese and it was very enjoyable, I think I went for the wrong option last time.

Great Burgers, Even Better Staff

We had lunch at Bread Meats Bread on a busy Friday afternoon and it didn't disappoint. There was a little bit of a wait, but the staff were extremely nice and quick to fit us in.
Their vegan menu is fairly large, with several burger and side options. Their mayo-based sauces are available vegan, but there is a bit of an annoying up charge with them being twice the price of regular sauces. I ordered the Vegan B12 Cheeseburger and while it looked a little pitiful on the plate, it was packed with flavor and very filling. I had a side of fries with vegan harissa mayo as a dip.
When we got our change back from paying, our waitress was even kind enough to find my husband a specific coin type since he's a collector. We'll definitely be back!

Pros: Good sized vegan menu, Wonderful staff

Cons: Can be a bit busy, Vegan sauces cost double

Amazing burger

Had a great first experience here. It is small and busy but I like that, makes it feel more personal. We also had a window see which was great for people watching as your waiting on your order. I was with my mum who is a omni, I had the vegan bacon cheeseburger, vegan poutine and vegan strawberry milkshake. The burger is hands down the best vegan burger I have ever had, lots of flavour and not dry. The milkshake was also awesome, poutine however was a bit blah! So I would give that a miss next time.

Service was great and the staff were friendly. Luckily we got there just before peak traffic cane in so we got seated straight away. I can’t wait to try their vegan chicken options that are coming out. Def would recommend and will be going back.

Pros: Good options available , Burgers have a lot flavour , Reasonably priced

Cons: Poutine isn’t that great, so wouldn’t get again

Fab vegan burgers

Very busy restaurant with not much seating so be prepared to wait if you turn up in peak. My party of 3 only had to wait 5 minutes luckily. Many vegan options on the menu including burgers, fries, loaded fries. I ordered the vegan bacon cheeseburger and oh my gosh- it was DELICIOUS. The side of large fries were also great. Recommend this place!!

Pros: Vegan options, Vegan bacon cheeseburger, Fries

Cons: Sell meat, Pricey for a burger
