Est. Jan. 2024. A vegetarian cafe serving breakfast, lunch, smoothies, baked goods and more. Offers lots of vegan options (one of the owners is vegan). Vegan choices and others that can be made vegan are all clearly labeled. Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, avocado toast, breakfast burrito, smoothies, vegan burger, soup, baked goods, full espresso bar options. (Also has a food truck.) There are parking spots in the lot in front of the cafe that are currently painted as staff only but customers can park here. If all spots are filled, there is plenty of free parking directly across the street (Victoria). Open Mon-Thu 7:30am-3:00pm, Fri 7:30am-1:00pm. Closed Sat-Sun. Order-ahead app & delivery hours subject to demand.

Great, just great food, and possibly the best coffee I’ve had in my entire life - Edit
Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff world class coffee all food was great 10 out of 10 , got vegan breakfast sandwich home fries and avocado toast all delicious, be advised this location is actually in/part of the college but (I’m my opinion) that kinda makes it cooler , there were a million open seats inside and a bunch of picnic tables etc outside being at the college actually gave us MORE pleasant places to eat .

An oasis of vegan breakfast - Edit
We were greeted by the owner in the parking lot as he noticed our MA plates and struck up a conversation, and then introduced us to the vegan chef inside. Everyone so nice!
Read moreWe got vegan breakfast sandwich and vegan breakfast burrito. Both were excellent, comfort food in decent portions with an explosion of savory flavors (the sandwich had some sweetness too).
It’s part of a college campus, so the atmosphere is college dining and spacious. There are outdoor tables we enjoyed. Coffee is good. Love this place!

If a really good vegetarian menu with superb vegan options isn’t your thing, maybe you’ll enjoy the service- they went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of, and that our food arrived quickly!

Bridge and Tunnel also had very reasonable prices AND very adamant that everyone earns a living wage, so no tipping is required (or allowed).
I wish there was a Bridge and Tunnel Cafe in my city! They’re doing it right!!

Great breakfast sandwiches - Edit
We stopped by here because we found out they had vegan breakfast sandwiches. We went to their brick and mortar building and it wasn’t very crowded. Who we assume was one of the owners or the owner, was there making the sandwiches. He was extremely friendly and loved talking with us about how we found them and what we thought about our breakfast sandwiches. The sandwiches were amazing and we really loved that the ingredients were not overly processed, complete with things like a tofu egg and coconut bacon. Would highly recommend stopping by for a breakfast sandwich and coffee (cold brew was amazing!) You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in what they serve.

Excellent vegan breakfast - Edit
This is a vegetarian cafe with lots of vegan options. The baked goods are made in house and are default vegan. We had the vegan breakfast bowl and the Best Breakfast Sandwich and both were great. I love that they use scrambled tofu in the bowl and fried tofu as the egg replacement. They use actual vegetables here too: the bowl has fresh avocado, peppers, pico de gallo, beans and potatoes, and there are greens on the sandwiches. There is plenty of parking, bathrooms are clean and the staff are super friendly. I thought it might be weird going to eat on a college campus, but we definitely weren’t the only non-students there. The prices are very reasonable for Asheville. I’ll be back for sure.

Delicious, well marked vegan options. Even the brioche buns were vegan. Prices were the best we’ve seen in Asheville. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come again, would recommend to anyone!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful! I enjoyed the mix of flavors in the Best Breakfast Sandwich. The Avocado Toast was simple but good. I also loved the coffee.

Tasty vegan breakfast sandwich - Edit
“Best breakfast sandwich” was tasty! Would be even better with a whole grain bun (if this is an option, I missed it). Oat milk latte was good. The dining room itself doesn’t offer much ambiance, but it is spacious, with several seating configurations (including outdoor), and would be a good place to sit and work or study. Super clean restrooms. On the campus of AB Tech, but easy to reach and designated parking is by the door. Lucky students and staff to have vegan options for breakfast and lunch everyday!

Great Vegan breakfast - Edit
Tried the “Best” Breakfast sandwich made vegan and a build your own vegan breakfast sandwich. Both were great. Chef knows how to cook tofu- not always the case! Owner was very enthusiastic.

Healthy, Quick, and Friendly - Edit
Nice little physical location for the brick and mortar version of a lovely food truck in town. All vegetarian menu, loads of vegan options. Everything is healthy, and tastes healthy too, so some things might need a little more salt or sugar. But highly recommend.
