Cute spot

Has a vegetarian menu section and could probably modify many of those and other dishes to be vegan if asked. The place itself was cute with plenty of indoor seating and a patio for nice weather.

Good but must clearly state vegan

We came here for dinner and ordered the pad Thai and tofu with peanut sauce. We wanted to order spring rolls and the waiter said they were vegan, but then we asked if they contain eggs and he said yes. It doesn’t seem like the waiters are too clear on what vegan means so just make sure you clarify no eggs when ordering. The food was really good and filling! The rooftop seating is super nice too.

Pros: Big portions, Friendly staff, Location

Great Thai Food and cute balcony dining!

Honestly I took an Uber to try DC Vegan…but they were closed. This place is right next door. Very cute place to eat upstairs outside. Food was great! They have vegan options on the last page of the menu but have at least 10 options (plus soup options)❤️

Pros: Cute place to eat outside, Over 10 vegan options, Great Taste

Dependable

I’ve had better Thai food, but this restaurant always delivers decent quality food at a fair price. I’ve lived in the area for a long time so I have been here probably close to 10 times. I’ve never been disappointed in their food or service, but on the other hand, I’ve never really been wowed there.

Pros: Veg menu with many options, Awesome location, Good cocktails

Cons: A little plain at times

Delicious Thai

I thought the food was delicious. Choose from the vegetarian menu and ask for no fish sauce and specify “vegan.”

Pros: Lots of veg options , Indoor and outdoor seating, Reliable and tasty Thai food

Not good

The Thai food here is very basic. There's nothing special about it and it isn't particularly good. But the reason I give 1 star is because the food also made me very sick. I don't know if it possibly was cross contaminated with something non vegan or just plain bad but I was sick to my stomach for days. Stay away from this place! There are many better Thai options on the area.

It’s fine, nothing special.

Not someplace I’d go out of my way for, but it got the job done when I needed some late night food. I wouldn’t recommend unless it’s the only convenient option for you. They only have 6-7 vegetarian dishes, and none of them include noodles.

Basic Fare Thai

Like the other reviewers have pointed out, the dishes here are fairly basic. Not the greatest, not the worst. The servers are fairly knowledgable when it comes to making dishes vegan. If you want a fairly relaxed and cheap happy hour, especially during the summer, there is outdoor seating on the second floor.

Lovely, but pretty basic

Monday evening, the place was fairly quiet. Plenty of room and staff was very nice. They knew what dishes were vegan, which was great. Portions were pretty big for that price and I definitely didn't leave hungry. Overall a very charming place with nice staff and good food, but nothing too special.

Standard fare

This restaurant is off the main areas in DuPont Circle, so you likely wouldn't come across it unless you're looking. Because there are so many great choices around, this restaurant isn't top of my list.

It does have your classic veg dishes like pad Thai and tofu stir fry, but it's nothing extraordinary. Curry and various vegetable/tofu stir fry dishes are available, but it's a lot of tofu and not much thought. You can also order your own bowl of noodle soup, but that's not that exciting of a meal, if you ask me. The papaya salad, mango with sticky rice and spring rolls will probably be better accompaniments to your meal.

The amount of food is generous but not impossible to finish in one sitting. The best part is probably the price- a little lower than most other restaurants around here.

Pros: Mango sticky rice

Cons: Older establishment

Great Meal!

This was one of our best meals during our week in DC. Yes, the menu items are pretty standards for a Thai restaurant, but they do everything well. Lots of vegetarian options. Just ask and you can veganize most dishes. Outstanding service. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Nothing out of the ordinary

It was Monday night, Cafe Green was closed and I didn't want to spend hours at a restaurant because I was by myself. I found this place through vegdc.com and decided to chek it ou because of their separate veg menu. The fod was alright. I ordered a soup with rice noodles and vegetables and that iis what I got. I then rdered fresh rolls, which were not originally veg, but the waitress asked the chef to not use shrimp and everything was fine. All in all it was a pleasant experience, but nothing out of the ordinary. Cheap.

Pros: Service, Location

Cons: Bland
