Had the vegan combo for two. It was amazing value for money. The food was absolutely outstanding, different flavours and lots of it. Would highly recommend.

Divine Indian Street Food! - Edit
This is a hidden gym, nestle right next to picadilly gardens.
Read moreLarge menu of plenty of vegan options on menu, between 2 people we shared 5 plates and it was plenty!
Highly recommend the okra fries, bahji butty, and aloo & dahl kachori! Super delightful flavours, and very interesting combinations of flavours.
A little bit of a squeeze to get to our table, and the restaurant was busy but it honestly added to the street food vibe.
Pros: Range, Flavour, Service
Cons: A bit pricey

Great Indian food - Edit
There's loads of vegan options here including a set vegan combo for 2 option, so you're sure to find something that tickles your fancy. It was all really great, with good beer options to boot!

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Great food choices. Plenty to try when I popped in here for an evening meal. Was about 8pm on a Tuesday and was really busy, so got a small table by the bar. The menu options were labelled V for vegan. I had rice, a chick pea dish, fried ocra with dips, a cold cabbage based dish and puri bread. Plenty there for less than £25. Really nice, I’d go again to try the other vegan things.

A local friend took me here and it did not dissapoint! There were quite a few nice veggie Indian dishes to try. My favourite was the Bhaji burger. There's a few craft beers to choose from too. It was a nice experience overall.

Great food, bit loud - Edit
really enjoyed the food, especially the tarka daal, we were both stuffed afterwards! The only downside was I found it a little loud, but we did go at a busy time so may be different if there were fewer folks in.

More Boom than Bust - Edit
I had dined here a couple of times many years ago and I was quite underwhelmed, especially given the rave reviews that I heard about it from vegans and non-vegans alike. However, more than enough time had past since those initial visits, so I was willing to give it another crack. This time, I will say that I was pretty impressed, the quality and range of food had definitely improved and the range of beers available was also a great boon. Despite these positives, I still feel that it is slightly over rated and I would much rather sauce my ‘up-market’ Indian street food from elsewhere (Mowgli).

I liked the fact there was a vegetarian restaurant in the city centre.

Nice Indian street food! - Edit
Everything is vegetarian, most things are vegan. I particularly liked the vada pav & the okra fries but everything was very good & pretty authentic. They have a nice range of craft beers too. Well worth a look.

Loads of choice for vegans and really tasteful. Lots of little dishes like a tapas to have. Very flavourful and cheap.

They'll forget they're eating vegan - Edit
Fantastic modern Indian street food. Nice environment and great, varied selection on the menu. Great place to bring people who aren't vegan to taste food so good they forget all about meat.

Lovely food! - Edit
Great food as always and a really good range of options. It’s just a little bit too expensive for the portion size, but a treat nonetheless! We ordered off the indochinese limited edition menu, and the food was lovely.

Amazing, but stairs - Edit
Bundobust is always a hit, even with my meat-eating friends and family. There's so many vegan options.

Had the Paratha & Thepla which was delicious, my favourite out of the 3 dishes. Really liked the paratha and enjoyed the tomato chutney, it was similar to a nicely flavoured passata and the Achar pickle tasted like olives, so if you like that then you will like the Achar pickle.
Read moreCobis nu shack was my second favourite, nicely sliced vegetables that actually tasked like they were pickled. Loved the pieces of ginger in it, could have had more!
Tarka dhal and rice was fine but came out quite small, the dhal was on top of the rice so for the price, I felt that this one should be bigger in portion size, although the photo on the website is accurate.
Staffs were lovely.
The menu is clearly marked regarding what is vegan and what is vegetarian.
The place is quirky, not a fan of the benches though, too hard.

Delicious & allergen friendly! - Edit
It’s actually disgraceful that I lived in Manchester most of my life and only now have visited Bundobust 😅 Visited with friends and the food was incredible - everyone’s food arrived at the same time despite it being a very large order!
Read moreSo many gluten-free & vegan options available, I was actually a bit overwhelmed with the choice at first as I normally only have one or two menu choices to choose from! One friend also has a nut allergy and this was catered for with no problem at all - staff were very helpful.
Couldn’t recommend more and will be back in the future.
Pros: Great with allergens, Lots of vegan options, Lots of gluten-free options

Authentic Desi Food - Edit
An excellent selection of delicious Indian food. Really authentic (spent over a year in India)
Fresh tasting and excellent chutneys to compliment the dishes. Fresh, pretty healthy and mostly vegan.
The ginger and tamarind cider goes well with the dishes.
I’ve been twice in 24 hours. Highly recommended.

Piccadilly Palare - Edit
Beer and curry is the talk of the town here. Spacious and colourful with an impressive range of locally brewed ales and some from further afield. The food menu is astounding in my opinion. Simple, tasty and filling street food. Having been to the Leeds branch numerous times it was a pleasure to try one of the two Manchester openings. The okra fries are always a must and the rest is up to you. Expect to pay £40 to £50 per couple these days.
