Tasty! - Edit
Grabbed a chicky Caesar wrap and was a bit nervous because they make the chick’n out of jackfruit which is pretty hit or miss for me. But this one was a hit. Flavorful wrap. Would come again, good prices as well.

When you’re starving and vegan, Beatnic is just the place. Plenty of choices and it’s even possible to be healthy. But nah, go for the junk food, lol.

Affordable, delicious vegan food in a great location in NYC - Edit
I ordered the chicken jackfruit tenders, sweet potato fries, and a BYO salad to share. All were good! The chickpeas on the salad weren’t my favorite, along with the chipotle aioli, but that’s just my taste buds. Reasonably priced considering its located right by Rockefeller Center.

Fast casual vegan food - Edit
The burgers and salads are great. I’d prefer a menu with fewer “fake meat” options as I steer clear of those, but there’s enough to work with

This is just vegan comfort food. It’s not extraordinary but it’s good. Glad it’s black bean patties and not impossible or beyond. #Veganuary

Great place to grab a quick vegan meal if you’re in Rockefeller center. The happy cow map brings you to the wrong address. It’s a block below the mapped address. Just google it.😄

Clean Eating Here IS Possible! - Edit
One is able to build their own salad, leaving out any oil-laden, fried (i.e., "crispy") faux meats, etc. I opted for a kale base topped with: quinoa, cucumber, sliced almonds, chick peas and black beans - no dressing - and a black, unsweetened ice tea. Perfect! 😋

Great Lunch Spot in Manhattan - Edit
Beatnic is another solid and affordable vegan restaurant here in the heart of Manhattan.
Read moreI loved the bright, open space inside the restaurant. With NY's pricy real estate, I was pleasantly surprised that it was so roomy with AC blasting during the summer. It was a definite reprieve from all the hustle and bustle right outside.
Orders are placed at the kiosk near the entrance or at the front with one of the workers. I ordered their Crispy Chicky Bowl, which was their take on an Asian chicken salad with mandarins and a sweet dressing. I enjoyed the chickn strips and all the fresh veggies that came with my meal. My friends ordered a Poke Bowl where they used marinated tomato as the tuna. Flavors were on point but the portions were on the smaller side compared to my salad.
I would definitely come back here for a future meal especially if I am busy shopping or exploring the area.
Pros: Easy to order at the kiosks, Lots of seating

WHEN FLAVOR, EXPERIENCE & QUALITY DOES NOT MATCH - Edit
In a nutshell: If you are a Vegan that loves yourself enough, do not support fast food chains with no quality control & no respect for clients.
Read moreTHE BAD
I've ordered from Beatnic online before but I've stopped doing it because in my two nearest locations (Fashion District and Rockefeller Center) there is always something off with the order... from soggy sweet potato fries, cold and "hot" food packaged together, to outright cold food that should be hot - no excuses for cold food in this century. Although you're saving (a bit) ordering from the Beatnic app than using Yelp, they use the same delivery people 8/10 is underwhelming.
THE WORST
I selected a delivery window, for later, and not only the driver showed outside the delivery window. I had to call him, he couldn't find the apt buzzer when everyone else sees it. After I buzzed him in, he didn't say a word, he just LEFT THE FOOD ON THE FLOOR!!! and left before I could say something he was already gone. I wish it would have been the first and only time having this done to me, which is not acceptable and both Beatnic and Yelp need to stop using Grubhub to do their deliveries. As far as the cold food, when you reheat it in the micro it loses its texture so the grilled cheese with broccoli got soggy and on top of that they're giving you the not-edible chunks of the broccoli, instead of the rosette and that cheap move deserves a negative 5 for the prices that they charge. With tips, an average order it's between $36-$62 Which is fine if the food's quality, flavors, and service to match. The best were the desserts, not that the chili wasn't bad but it didn't taste as fresh besides, the chips lost their texture when reheated. For Vegans out there that need their comfort food fix, support other plant-based menu businesses that will be more appreciative of your business.
Pros: Accessible Vegan fast food, Good portions, Nice burger patties
Cons: Cold food, Bad customer service, Delivery not reliable

Good food - Edit
This fast food place offers a variety of vegan dishes. The Nashville wrap was freshly prepared, had great flavors and was a perfect meal for a day of exploring NYC. I enjoyed the chicken substitute that is made from jackfruit and has a great texture. However, the cookies and cream brownie I had as dessert was way too sweet.

Right Place, Right Time - Edit
My brother and I both enjoyed Beatnic this weekend. I particularly loved the Chicky Deluxe although it was a HARD decision as almost everything sounded amazing. I also loved how they had air fried french fries. Their ketchup was actually made of beats and it was so good!

Had the Nashville Chick’n wrap. It was decent. Would have been better if cheese was shredded not just a clump of sliced cheese. Would have liked to try other items but was in a rush.

I only tried one thing to be fair but I really liked it. I don’t eat a lot of jackfruit chicken but I really enjoyed theirs. Also I felt like the prices were very fair for where the restaurant is and the portions.

Loved the food! We tried so many items being a family of five and loved them. My kids enjoyed the vegan chicken bites and I made my own salad bowl. The falafel wraps were fab. It’s self order and service but is great value when compared to the rest of NY. My only regret was that we didn’t go back a second time while being in the city.

Got the Crispy Chicky salad. It was pretty good all around but I didn’t love the dressing. Their jackfruit chicken is simply amazing though. I recommend getting extra because they only add a a few small pieces.

First, the service staff are amazing. Super friendly and attentive to each customer.
Read moreIn terms of the food, we got the Chicky deluxe sandwich (burger ish). There was lots of jackfruit chicky which was yummzah. A bit too much sauce which made a mess in the container. Flavor packed though.
We also got the peanut crunch salad which is a disappointment. There were 5 small pieces of tofu and everything else was pretty much just kale. For $15, I’m still hungry and that ,to me, is unacceptable. The flavor was alright but more dressing could help. Definitely needed more substance for sure though.
NYC is simply too expensive for what one gets imo

The whole place is vegan, the burger wasn't that expensive (but the mac and cheese was). The only reason why I didn't give 5 ⭐️ is because the burger could've been a bit hotter.
