By Lima heeft veel vegan opties die werkelijk heerlijk zijn. De gerechten worden mooi opgediend en zien er ook heerlijk uit. Bij By Lima is het altijd druk en gezellig. De bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We came here a few years ago and recently decided to return when we were in the neighbourhood. It was just like we remembered it: no-nonsense, friendly people and great vegan options. We had the toast avocado and the granola yoghurt. Sounds simple, but both were outstandingly good. Also a great choice of drinks & vegan pie as dessert. Will definitely return whenever we're in the beautiful city of Haarlem!

We had the matcha spinach pancakes and the strawberry rhubarb trifle. Both were super delicious! The chai with oat milk was a great way to finish the meal. We went during the week (Tuesday) so it wasn’t all that busy. Highly recommend! Super tasty!! Non vegans were also quite happy with their meals. Breakfast foods, sandwiches and salads.

Lovely little breakfast/lunch spot. Quite busy so would get here early-ish (you can’t book - we couldn’t get in for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday but had no problem at 11am on Sunday). I had the vegan tuna salad which was excellent and came on great bread with avocado and tomatoes. The coffee is really good - I had a soy latte. Would try the vegan choc chip pancakes next time I think!

More than half the menu is vegetarian/vegan so there's a lot of choice. There was also an entire cabinet of vegan cakes made by Holy Cow.

We had lunch at By Lima today and we had a vegan cake, a vegan sandwich and vegan 'bitterballen'. The food was very good, it tasted really nice and looked good as well. The only thing is that some of the lettuce on op top of the sandwich was old and turning yellow already, which was a pity. The staff did not come across as very professional and we have had 4 different waiters, they couldn't answer some simple questions about the menu. But, because of the great food I would come back to try again and see if the staff just had a bad day. I highly recommend the 'broccoli/linzen bitterballen', they were perfect!

This is a beautiful, cozy place, with friendly staff. Vegan (and gluten free) dishes are clearly marked on the menu. There are several vegan options, and in my opinion some creative ones too. I had pancakes and a chai with almond milk, both very tasty. I would definitely go back here!

Such a nice place to sit outside and have lunch, with lots of vegan options and a great atmosphere. I had the vegan pancakes, and they were delicious but quite a small plate, so I fortunately still had room for a shared plate of vegan bitterballen, a soy chai latte and a delicious vegan cake. Everything tasted from good to great.

Delightful little place with outside seating. The food was absolutely amazing! Healthy and extremely tasty. The portions were a lot larger than I expected and it was very filling . It's also very reasonably priced. I would definetly recommend visiting this little gem!

I thought I reviewed this place, but apparently not! It's such a cosy lunch spot. They have a menu with everything you can ask for, even homemade vegan 'bitterballen' if you're into that! Sandwiches are honestly so good and there's a large selection of vegan raw cheesecakes. The best!

Read moreNext time I definitely want to try the 2 sorts of vegan 'bitterballen' that they serve. That is typically Dutch food (a snack) served in pubs and is normally made with meat, so I haven't eaten it in 10 years now. It's really good, you should try it! (The vegan version off course)
