Has vegan options (2) but doesn't worth it

I've been told there's 2 vegan dishes prior seating. I order the hamburger because it felt like a safe choice. The waiter asked me if I want a bun, and I decided to go without.this patty was from some source of pea, it felt more like a little tosted mashed peas than a berguer. It had a lot of Indian spices, it wasn't good at all.

Pros: 2 vegan options , The service quick

Cons: Didn't enjoy the food, Price expensive for the quality

Food had no taste

The waiter was nice, but food was tasteless.

I was told the burger was vegan. What came was a patty with rice and a bit of salad.

The food had nearly no taste and was nearly cold.

My omni sister liked her omelette and cake on the other hand.

But price was ok.

Only to recommend if you are hungry and have no other options. Sorry

Pros: Price, Waiter was nice and knew vegan

Cons: Only one vegan dish

Not vegan friendly

They have a vegetarian section but only 1 option that was obviously vegan, The Seitan Steak. They were out of the Seitan Steak so I asked the waiter if the other options were vegan and he said they were. I ordered 1/2 Vegetable Francesinha and their Shiitake Pie. When they come out I look at the cheese on the Francesinha and it seems too realistic to be vegan. So I go in and ask the waiter if it’s real cheese and he says yes... Then tells me that I never told him I don’t eat real cheese 😑
To make matters worse the Shiitake Pie also had real cheese in it and I only found out after having a couple of bites.
Horrible customer service and just a terrible experience. Ended up paying for both and not eating anything.
Frustrating to say the least.

Pros: Has a vegan option

Cons: Don’t know difference between vegan & vegetarian, Only 1 vegan option, Horrible customer service

Desapontado

Pros: Having at least 1 option, Location

Cons: Don't understand veganism, Have to ask in advance

What a surprise!

So this is a really old restaurante/snack bar in Porto, so it was a quite the shock when I saw so many options on the menu! They use tofu and seitan and understand what vegan is, they were so nice, really wanting to know if everything was good and if the quality of the seitan/tofu was good haha
We had a really nice dinner, everything was well seasoned and it was not expensive!
So overall it was a good experience and would could back :)
