Not what it used to be - Edit
This used to be one my favorite restaurants in all of Freiburg, but it’s gone steeply downhill.
Read moreThe food has gotten bland while more expensive and the organization is downright terrible (I got my sauce 15 minutes after the food, the friend I was there with got his food 45 minutes after I got mine, half the drinks got forgotten, and this was in a near empty restaurant).
Not recommended.

Really impressed! - Edit
I was put off by the other reviews, but the menu looked nice so took a chance and am so glad I did. It’s a lovely, candle-lit restaurant by night, although a little echoey. I had the risotto which WAS rather dry but tasty nevertheless. My partner had smoked tofu, warm salad and rosemary potatoes and it was DIVINE. Good organic wine. Really friendly, helpful staff, and 3 vegan dessert options.

Lovely sunny outdoor terrace - Edit
The food is one of the best I had in freiburg, I go at least once a month to this restaurant for sunday brunches on its sunny terrace. They don't have a lot of vegan options, and it is not cheap-cheap, but what they have is delicious and worth the money!

Die Portionen sind für den Preis zu klein, gewürzt wird wenig bis gar nicht (vielleicht ist das das Konzept). Vegane Optionen sind unverhältnismäßig teuer, obwohl die Zutaten banal sind. Die Suppen sind fad. Die Atmosphäre dagegen ist angenehm, besonders zu empfehlen ist der Hinterhof im Sommer.
