Love their "masks are voluntary for staff" policy - Edit
I love that face masks are voluntary for staffers in all La Boheme restaurants, as I love seeing faces and smiles after three years of societal pressure on staffers to cover up.
Read moreThe vegan options are very basic, but I still found them delicious. I had the pepperonchino (around 400Y) and the sourdough bread.
There is also another pasta dish (arrabiata) on the menu, as well as a vegan labeled salad with kale and quinoa.
The interior is nice, but there might be a waiting line (we waited one hour without a reservation)
Pros: Staffers not forced to wear masks, Cheap vegan options, Nice interior

Not great - Edit
Only had like 2 vegan options - tofu salad and a tomato pasta. The pasta was nice but nothing special. The place lacked atmosphere. Was quite disappointed as it was a hard place to find and wasn’t worth the time spent. It was cheap which is the only upside

Good vegan pasta if you’re lucky! - Edit
The only vegan option they have is a salad. But I asked them if they can make any vegan spaghetti. They made wonderful mushroom and asparagus pasta for me. However, they said if the chef is not available (sometime they only have part timer in the kitchen), they can’t make one. So try asking if they can make one at the door.

Not really vegan - Edit
When I was there the only vegan salad was out, and the vegetarian option was a small pizza and deep fried gnocchi (they were delicious though). The room is beautiful, the drinks are great, but the vegetarian/vegan menu not satisfying.

Romantic Date Spot - Edit
We decided to go to this restaurant on a Wednesday night, around 930. It had a good sized crowd but did not appear busy. It faces Shinjuku Gyeon and is very romantic. With the prices, I didn't expect for it to be fancy but it kind of was. There is a dress code. The menu advertised vegan options but I was too shy to ask. Portion sizes are small but enough food. Pizza crust was delicious. Our server spoke English well. The lights went down and they sang happy birthday to a woman, it was very exciting.

Cons: Pricey, Smaller portions, Fancier than the website suggests
