Serves meat, vegan options available. Cozy little cafe with Indian food, brunch, burgers and cocktails. Has a vegan burger, a vegan sushi-style wrap and several vegan curries with tofu, chickpeas, cauliflower and mixed veggies.

Good indian-style food - Edit
At Cafe Munk they serve several vegan Indian curry dishes, e.g. daal, cauliflower-chickpea curry, palak "paneer" with tofu instead of paneer. I wouldn't call it authentic Indian food, it is adjusted to european taste. It wasn't spicy but flavoursome and well-balanced, I enjoyed it a lot. Portion was quite small, though. The café itself is nicely decorated and has outdoor-seating. They have many alcoholic drinking options (but not much choice if you don't drink alcohol). Tap water for free.

Suspicious - Edit
First I ordered a vegan Indian dish for lunch. It came out with yoghurt on top. I asked the waitress if she was sure that the white stuff on top was vegan. She took the plate, went to ask the kitchen, and came back with the food with yoghurt just scraped off, I could taste it 😒 Good thing I’m not allergic, but YUK!
Read moreI had a meeting there, so I couldn’t easily go anywhere else, and also had to eat dinner there. So in the evening I chose the burger. But when it came out, the bun looked a lot like a brioche, so we asked whether they were sure the bun was vegan. She said she didn’t know, ‘cause they just come in huge plastic bags with no writing on them, she showed us. So basically, you can’t know if the burger bun is vegan or not, and there might be cows milk in your vegan dish.
It’s a gambler this one :/
Pros: Sweet waitress , The vegan fries dip was nice, Got lunch offers
Cons: “Vegan” Food might not be vegan here, Charges extra for plant milks, Expensive evening prices compared to food

Fast service, good meal - Edit
I've been avoiding this place for some time, because for some reason it didn't feel like the kind of place that knew vegan from vegetarian. I was wrong. Not all their vegan options are marked, but they have a good amount. I believe 3 of their vegetarian Indian dishes could be veganized, and they also had a vegan wrap and a burger.
Read moreMy chickpea cauliflower was unexpectedly spicy, and there could've been a little more rice, but it was good and I'll be back at a later time.
I got my food fast, which was a plus.
They also serve alcohol, and could be ideal for lunch, date or dinner with friends.
