Wir waren morgens in diesem Café auf einen Kaffee und es war einfach großartig! Der Barista war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich, mit uns auf Deutsch zu sprechen, was wir unglaublich charmant fanden. Wir bestellten einen Kurkuma-Latte, einen Cappuccino und ein Stück Himbeer-Cheesecake. Alles war köstlich! Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und der Service erstklassig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich war heute das erste Mal im Vux und bin begeistert! Alles ist vegan, und die Bedienung ist außerordentlich herzlich und freundlich. Der Kuchen und der Kaffee waren einfach exzellent. Auch die Einrichtung hat mir sehr zugesagt, und praktischerweise konnte ich sogar mit Karte zahlen. Ein kleiner Punkt, der mich leicht gestört hat, war die automatische Trinkgeldvorschlagsfunktion beim Kartenbezahlen, die mittlerweile wohl überall üblich ist. Ich bevorzuge es, über das Trinkgeld selbst zu entscheiden und es beim Verlassen des Cafés zu geben. Trotzdem war ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Besuch und freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

One of my favorites 💚 - Edit
I've been there so many times and it never disappoints me. One of the best vegan cafes in the city. The biscoff pie and cappuccino are my “go to” (I need to stop always ordering the same thing and try other delicacies). I was surprised by the seitan and lemon bagel. It was seasoned just right. The people from staff are always super nice and the place has an indoor and outdoor space. I highly recommend it!

A hidden gem a little out of the city centre. Worth the trip though. Fresh and tasty bagels and Bao Buns. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The cafe is lacking some cosy atmosphere, perhaps it’s new, but the food and cakes made it well worth visit.

With the roman by Nicolas Barreau in my hand which’s about a book handler who just discovered the woman of his life in his favorite café, it’s as if I had jumped into this fantasy right now when I entered this Vux. Dim lights, perfect for light-sensitive people. Chairs and tables cut from different woods and carved in different styles. Cakes are lovely and seeming to be made by professional hands. I did order a muffin with Flat White at its finest quality. At some point I would like to come more often, as long as I start my new mini-job nearby in November. An absolutely Yes-Go!🫶🏼

Früher bin ich sehr gern und oft im Vux gewesen. Jetzt kenne ich es nur noch mit geschlossenen Rollläden und einem Zettel an der Tür, auf der ein paar spärliche Öffnungszeiten stehen. Ich kann mich nicht mehr mit Freund*innen für einen Besuch im Vux verabreden, weil wir dann die Treffen nach den seltenen Zeitfenstern ausrichten müssten, an denen das Café mal offen hat. So wird das nichts mehr.

Delicious coffee and cinnamon buns - Edit
Important: it appears this place is only open on weekends. I only had a coffee and a cinnamon bun with mascarpone frosting, both of which were delicious, but I left wishing I had tried the baos as well. The space is big, bright, and welcoming.

Delicious food, deserts and coffee! So so so good! Wish they would bring back the vegan brunches but the bagels and baos they have now are great too. Definitely buying all birthday cakes here from now on! Owner and chef are both so nice too!
