Delightful Vegan Options - Edit
This unexpectedly charming establishment stands out not only for its delectable offerings but also for its warm and hardworking staff. The menu is focused primarily on seafood, as one would expect, but there are a few high-quality and delicious vegan options.
Read moreOne of the highlights of my visit was the Avocado and Tofu Salad. Generously portioned for a dinner serving, this refreshing salad is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The citrus and ginger vinaigrette dressing is uniquely bright and delicious, perfectly complementing the creamy avocado and tender tofu.
The vegetable roll at Capilano Sushi is, without a doubt, the best I have ever tasted. This roll goes beyond the usual assortment of vegetables by including pickled Japanese radish and marinated mushrooms. These ingredients infuse the roll with a distinctly Japanese umami flavour that is both satisfying and memorable. Every bite is a testament to the thoughtful preparation and quality ingredients used.
Another notable aspect is the pricing. Capilano Sushi offers extremely reasonable prices, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy a high-quality meal without breaking the bank.
I left Capilano Sushi feeling pleasantly full but not uncomfortable—a testament to the well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared vegan dishes. If you're in North Vancouver and looking for a place that offers delicious, vegan-friendly sushi with a touch of Japanese authenticity, Capilano Sushi is a safe bet.

Best sushi I ever had in North America - Edit
Honestly, in most sushi places we end up having avocado and cucumber roll. Here you will be served with a variety of vegetables and tofu rolls. The vegan sushi is so good that I can eat it without soy sauce.
