Vegan luxury experience - Edit
My friends gifted us a one-night stay in the Pi Gros room with a tasting menu dinner and breakfast... and it exceeded my expectations! The room was super comfy, very clean, with a huge bathtub and beautiful mountain views.

We tried their summer tasting menu, which included one starter —Herb focaccia with caponata—, four dishes —Raw zucchini lasagna, Potato rectangle with salsa brava, Gnocchi with coconut sauce, and Skewer of seitán with chimichurri—, and finally two desserts —Coconut lime cake with caramelized peach, and Chocolate textures.
It was a true flavor explosion, with organic ingredients (many from their own garden) and impeccable presentation. The portions might seem tiny at first, but we left feeling satisfied.
Breakfast was great too, with a mix of sweet (jams, fruit, juices...) and savory (bread, scrambled tofu, mushroom hummus...) with coffee or tea, and you could refill of everything.
The staff was so friendly and attentive, you could see they put love into everything and cared about the details. The only downside is the price – I think specially the beer and wine are overpriced.
But it's definitely an amazing spot for an unforgettable experience. 100% highly recommended!

Su lema "Organic and Vegan Luxury" se queda corto. ¡Imprescindible!

Algunos de los ingredientes los cultivan en la propia finca.
La propietaria atiende y explica los platos con gran amabilidad.
Los desayunos también son deliciosos, con pan y mermeladas caseras. El scramble tofu es demasiado!

We found this restaurant on the way to Andorra trough the HappyCow app and were so pleasantly surprised as it was just amazing. We arrived a little late for lunch but they were so lovely to offer us lots of dishes they were still able to prepare despite our late arrival. Everything was absolutely delicious, and very lovely people who run the place.

El edificio, las habitaciones y cada rincón del hotel ha sido decorado con un gusto exquisito. Las propietarias han cuidado hasta el último detalle, haciendo que la estancia se guarde en el recuerdo con especial cariño.
La comida es de diez, puede que la cantidad sea algo escasa, pero el sabor y la presentación de los platos no tienen ninguna pega.
Nosotras hemos probado la cena y el desayuno y nos hemos quedado encantadas y satisfechas.
El personal, ha sido muy correcto en todo momento.
Nota para las propietarias: Quizá os podríais plantear poner una piscina y un pequeño bar exterior.
Repetiremos!!

We spent three nights here, eating 6 meals. this really was the highest level of vegan food I've ever eaten in my six year of being animal free.
Read moreThe dinner menu is a changing menu day to day, with three options for each starter, main and dessert. Perhaps one or two of the options repeat day to day but apart from that everything is new.
A lot of the fruit and veg ingredients are sourced from their own vegetable patch. The breakfast is extremely complete, with a choice of savory, sweet (jams) or mixed. Savory is by far the best, with toast and scrambled tofu, another topping, cheese, loads of fresh fruit, coffee and fruit juices.
There isn't a lunch I don't think but the breakfast is so big it's honestly enough to keep you going for ages.
The hotel was amazing as you'd expect, not cheap but as with the food to definitely get what you pay for.
Our only let down were the owners, who failed to even acknowledge me upon arrival and weren't helpful at all when we asked them for assistance, a bit disappointing when you're paying so much for a service. I say owners as opposed to staff because the waitress was very attentive and the breakfast lady was incredibly friendly.

Amazing rural hotel, very beautiful place and surroundings. Wonderful ancient renovated house. Everything is completely vegan and eco-friendly. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, during the day you can walk in the nature or go to one of the closest villages. Outstanding cuisine, the food is incredibly good and tasty. Wonderful breakfast as well.

You'll need to rent a car or take a taxi from the closest village Solsona. We were coming from Barcelona's airport so we rent a car to make it easier.
