Great location, lovely vegan food - Edit
Came here specifically to get food to take away for the following day! Got the falafel sandwich which was yummy. They served bread and a (vegan) buttery sauce. Great location, WiFi available. Would definitely recommend this place!

I never wrote a review in my life, and i only made this account to tell you to go to Chia Vegan restaurant!
Read moreBest vegan place in Peru, food is so good, original (you get tired of eating veggie&hummus wraps), and so well presented. Service and prices very good.
I highly recommend this place, it’s delicious!

Creative and delicious - Edit
We came here twice during our stay in Cusco, and both times we were really impressed with the quality, originality, and taste of the food
Read moreSet lunch for only 15 soles was really good value. Juice, soup, salad, main, and dessert. Soup was the and delicious (I think pumpkin). Help yourself salad
bar, with far more than your average tomato and cucumber!! The battered cauliflower was particularly good, plus a variety of sauces. Main was either pesto spaghetti, which was nice and basil-y, or seitan stir fry - the mock meat had a great texture, and the sauce was rich and tasty. Dessert was a small piece of nutty choc cake
We also went for main meal in the evening, for quinoa chaufa (lots of seitan, and very flavoursome) and masaman curry (beautiful thick, rich, nutty sauce!) A bit more pricey going a la carter, but still good value
Pros: Wide variety of food, Great taste, Value set lunch

I've been to Chia several times now and each time Daniel always greeting me and others with fun energy. I'm always surprised at the care in beautiful presentation which is only outshined by the quality of the ingredients and flavors... good size portions and worth the moderate prices for the area for exceptional vegan food with the just right mix of familiar earth and creativity ❤

Pros: versatile menu, great compliment of creative beverages, great service

Friendly service and good food - Edit
We ate here twice and enjoyed our meals. There are separate sections on the menu for vegan and vegetarian dishes. There are also vegan cocktails and a happy hour. They add pineapple juice to the vegan pisco sour and when I told them I was allergic to pineapple they made me a new one and let my husband have my original drink. The Massaman curry was good and full of herbs and spices. We also had a vegan burger and the seitan stir fry, both of which were good too. It was quite busy the second time we were there and we were warned that if we ordered dessert it would take some time to arrive. Payment is by cash only.

vegetarian and vegan - Edit
Had a nice meal, however a bit overpriced. Desserts were gorgeous! Please note that the place is wrongly in the "vegan" category. Half of the menu is vegan, half lacto-ovo vegetarian. Should be changed here...

Nice, flavourful set menu - Edit
Had the set menu here. 15 soles for soup, main, a salad bar, drink and dessert. The best was the soup, a miso tofu with rice and veg. A real hearty soup, more than just your typical starter soup. The main was a veggie fettuccine pasta. The salad bar was also really good, different dishes including roast potatoes and other veg with nice sauces. You can probably find cheaper set menus in Cusco but this one was well worth it with dishes prepared fresh for you.

Simple and clean - Edit
I stopped in here for a mid morning snack. I settled for a drink and a smoothie, which was amazing. I was impressed by how well the staff took care of my partner and I even when we were only there for such a small order. Looking at the menu, we would totally have come back if we had had enough time throughout our trip.

Flavourful vegan cuisine - Edit
What a great surprise! We went to Chia 3 times as the food there was so tasty and different from most vegan places we tried in Peru and Bolivia. The Asian inspired dishes are very similar to what you actually eat in Asia, I had the Tom Kha Gai soup and the flavours just reminded me of Thailand (fresh lemongrass and ginger). The chargrilled veggie skewers were the bomb - perfect amount of olive oil, garlic and herbs that made the veggies melting in our mouth. Special mention to the chamomile tea served with fresh chamomile (and very cheap compared to other items on the menu). The set lunch is a good deal as it comes with buffet salad, soup, main, dessert and juice for 14 soles. I know there is cheaper in Cusco but the food there is packed with flavours - and it's very fresh!

You can taste a really good food! - Edit
This restaurant is located on a street near to the principal square in Cusco. The menu is varied and you can have breakfast because it is open at 9 a.m and also you can have dinner here because it's open till 11p.m. I had lunch recently in Chía and was pleasantly surprised because the plates are harmonious and creative. The service was excellent - much more attentive than in most Peruvian restaurants . The Quinoa lasagna I think is the best option and also the Paella are really delicious. The desserts are very good and healthy. The milkshakes I highly recommended this place!
