Nice Vegan Options

Stopped in for a small snack with my husband to tide us over to dinner while we were in Denver. We had the "water fried" vegan bao, which is a bit more like a dumpling than what I usually think of as bao, but it was tasty and really hit the spot.

The location is small, but tidy, and since we were there in the afternoon but before the dinner rush, it was relatively quiet. There was outdoor seating that would presumably be nice in warmer weather, but we stayed indoors because it was cold. Their restroom floor is slightly scary in that it looks a bit unstable and cracked, and it definitely showing some wear and tear, but was otherwise fine. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty quick.

If I had more time, I would have liked to stop by at some point to try their vegan Dan Dan Noodles, but we didn't end up having a ton of wiggle room on our trip--maybe next time!

Pros: Has multiple vegan options, Not expensive, Quick

Cons: Scary restroom

Good food good prices!

Not all vegan but one vegan option under every menu category (bao, noodles, fried rice). Prices were not bad at all! Felt like a whole meal with food ingredients, not fast food vibe (though the food did come quickly).

Pros: Good prices , Solid options

Delicious vegan water fried bao (they just used a bit of oil so the bottom is nice and crunchy)

Totally hit the spot

There was at least one vegan option for every category of food which I really appreciated. I got the bao buns steamed and the Dan Dan noodle. The noodles were good, but I absolutely loved the bao buns! Some of the best I’ve had maybe ever.

The vibe was fast casual with a good amount of seating and the staff was super nice.

Pros: Bao buns, Friendly staff, Quick, fast-casual service

a nice find

I got the vegan water fried bao buns and they were super delicious. They come with sauce and chili oil on the side. Also love the apple sodas they sell here. The order came with 8 bao buns for 12 dollars. Super filling too.

Okay

This place offers a limited menu; its vegan items are primarily a vegan bun and vegan bao, either steamed or pan fried. I had a steamed bao; it tasted OK, very starchy, but not that healthy. They have a bunch of functional chairs and seats here, it seems more suited for a quick bite than a relaxing meal. When I visited, the place was relatively busy and the service was not that quick.

Satisfied as a vegan

Got the steamed buns, fried rice, and noodles. Shared with my wife and it was plenty of food. At roughly $45 it was not a bad price for how satisfied we were. We even had a small box of leftovers to enjoy together before bed.

This place is a gem

All their food is great! The steamed bao and water fried bao are fantastic. They seem to have the same filling but are just cooked differently. I’m partial to the water fried! The noodles have a nice creamy sauce despite being a simple dish.
