Reopened in 2019 and switched to all-vegan. Owner is the chef who makes pasta dishes like tagliatelle with curcuma and grano arso flowers, ravioli, pici and lasagna, in addition to fresh salads like spaghetti di zucchine and pinzimonio with hummus. Also on menu are creamy vegetable soups, a selection of brushchetta. In the morning, breakfast consists of croissants, muffins, crostata, cookies, tramezzini, sandwiches, fresh orange juice, cold press vegetable and fruit juices, coffee. Check webpage for time updates. Lunch 12-2pm Sat-Sun. Open Fri-Sun 19:30-21:00, Sat-Sun 12:30-14:00. Closed Mon. Times listed as for kitchen hours.

Absolutely amazing. We have tried many dishes in two days. We ate there, moved to Volterra and drove back two hours just to eat again this delicious food. Everything was excellent but the Quenelle was like eating my grandmother’s food. The owners are super nice people. I recommend to everyone and I would definitely go back there.

We had a beautiful lunch at Ciriera Osteria Vegan and we were definitely impressed by the menu and the quality of the ingredients. We tried the bruschetta, beetroot salad, and dumplings as starters, then the gnocchi with pesto, the ravioli which were delicious and the quenelles as mains. As dessert I loved their tiramisu, my parents had the cheesecake and the sorbet. We tried a local bier, they also have wines available. I’d recommend this osteria if you are looking for vegan food or just passing by Trequanda.

Delicious! Cozy, small all vegan Italian osteria offering starters, pasta dishes and very nice deserts. True italian classics but all vegan! Every dish we tried was delicious, well made and presented. Service was friendly. The place was booked full and people were turned down, so I would make a reservation. Though the food was very nice the prices were a little above what we are used to in Italy, but well worth it!!

What an incredible experience! My partner and I went to this cozy restaurant for dinner after enjoying an unforgettable sunset right on the street next door. We ordered a starter, main course and dessert, and I still remember how pleasant it was to be there. The kind staff and a cozy atmosphere make the visit even more special. We ordered a starter with bruschetta of different flavors. After that, lasagna and ravioli, and to finish, tiramisu and passion fruit pie! Everything very tasty! I highly recommend it, I would come back many, many times!

The desserts were good, though not as impressive as the mains. My favourite was the tart with “pan di spagna”, chantilly and chocolate ganache. The semifreddo with oranges and chocolate was quite tasty but a little too dense for my taste. The tiramisu could be a bit sweeter and stronger on the coffee side.

We went to Ciriera Osteria Vegan for lunch and tasted our way through the menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the experience and particularly enjoyed the “Fantasia di bruschette” and the different pasta dishes (especially the “Pici al ragu lenticchie”). The desserts were tasty, although a little bit below the bar set by the previous dishes (the Tiramisù was a bit dry and could have had more sugar/coffee, rather opt for “Torta con Pan di Spagna” with lemon chantilly and chocolate ganache, or the semifreddo). The service was very friendly and both wines we tasted were excellent. The setting on their small terrace facing the village church is also quite atmospheric.

Yes, there is a completely vegan restaurant in this town. Yes, its very much in business as of September 23, 2023. Was an absolutely incredible meal. Got the parmigiana & ravioli, started with the polenta, ended with the Tiramisu. Skip the polenta I would say, but goddamn the rest was good. The tiramisu was outstanding, go check them out.
