The food here was very good. I had the lunch of the day which currently cost $4.50. it came with a glass of fruit juice, a bowl of soup, and the main plate with a cabbage wrap, potato casserole, and mixed veggies. There was also a tiny piece of chocolate cake for dessert. The service was friendly and the dining room is attractive. I hope to return before I leave Cuenca. Note that they offer a meal of the day 7 days a week whereas most of the other vegetarian restaurants in Cuenca only offer it Monday through Friday.

We came and ordered the lunch menu. It included a lentil soup, tofu&vegetable teriyaki and rice main dish and a chocolate desert. I think everything but the dessert was vegan.

I've had the almuerzo here twice so far during my stay in Cuenca. One day the main tasted indian-inspired, and the other time it was a veggie lasagna. The food is delicious, nourishing, and clearly made with care. The restaurant is vegetarian, not vegan, but they'll make the almuerzo vegan by request. Plus, the staff are so kind and welcoming, and the building is cute on the inside.

Bei uns war im Mittagsmenü eine Vorspeise (Kartoffelsuppe mit Quinoa), eine Hauptspeise (Linsenbällchen mit Gemüsreis und Salat) und eine Nachspeise (Schokoladenbällchen mit Kokosraspeln) Getränk enthalten. War wirklich sehr lecker und der Preis ist unschlagbar!

We had the almuerzos here for 6USD each. Included soup, main, dessert, and juice. The owner was able to make alterations to make the almuerzo vegan so just ask. The lasgna wasn't anything amazing but it was a nice change from the usual rice dishes.

Finally some healthy and delicious vegan breakfast in Ecuador: fresh baguette with hummus, avocado and tomatoes.

Their falafel is amazing!
Plus: The owner is really friendly and always up for a chat.
The restaurant moved to its new bigger place three months ago (by the time I am writing this, the old address is still on open street maps, better check on Google).

Had the set lunch which was 3 tostadas with beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes, a big bowl of soup of the day, a fresh pineapple mint juice, and a little bowl of bananas with granola to top it all off. All that for $4.50 and I was stuffed. My partner had the vegan lasagna which was rich and delicious served with plantains and a side salad, soup of the day and juice too. We both left satisfied and ready to come back for more.

The lunch set menu was incredible, with a choice of Indian or Mediterranean food. The food was really fresh and delicious, and great value for money. The set menu was 4.50, a bit more expensive than at some other places, but the food was really special and the portions huge, really worth the money. Our favourite place so far in Cuenca!

For the main, we had one plate with stuffed cabbage rolls, salad, and mashed potatoes, and the other plate with nicely-seasoned sliced seitan, black bean stew and mixed rice. Dessert was sliced banana with a sweet sauce on top. Some of the items were a bit muted in flavor (like the soup and rice), but overall, they food was good and if you're looking for a big lunch, this is the place to come to.
