Their cheese burgers and fries are absolutely delicious but nothing compare to their Snickers cheese cake. It’s mindblowingly incredible! We’ve traveled the world with road trips in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia etc and this cheese cake is our top three of best ever deserts tasted!

I arrived late (7:30pm) in Playa Del Carmen so I ordered immediately from COMET 984, when you’re vegan, it’s not always easy to find vegan food when traveling. They waited ONE HOUR (I ordered approximately 1 and a half hour prior to closing time) to tell me that they ran out of everything I wanted to order, and everything else I suggested as a replacement too, with the excuse of “we were too busy today,” ok, I understand you may run out of stuff unexpectedly, but wait one hour to tell me that? I arrived hungry and tired in Playa Del Carmen, I was looking forward to eating their food, but they couldn’t even let me know quick, so I could find someplace else.

But I did manage to find another place, but by the time they canceled my order (one hour after my order being placed), this other vegan place had just closed. If they had just told me from the get go that they had run out of food, I wouldn’t be giving them this bad review right now. ZERO respect for the customer and for a fellow vegan.
This place seems like they have great food, but I unfortunately cannot tell, I couldn’t get ahold of their food. All I got ahold of was their service, and it is really really really bad. Extremely unhappy with Comet 984. I wish I were here writing a good review instead.

Came for the corn dogs (my fav food!) but sadly they’re no longer on the menu. Prices have gone up considerably since older pics. Tasty burgers and fries going down, but had junk-food belly afterwards.

This was my first stop when I arrived in Playa del Carmen and it was just what I needed after a long day travelling. I ordered the cheese bean burger and fries, plus a tamarind juice. All were tasty, and the food wasn't too greasy for junk food either!

I enjoyed the house made veggie burger, was happy they had a Gluten-Free bun option, and their french fries were Amazing. Wish I had tried their fancy looking vegan milkshakes, but I was too full. Will have to go back! Atmosphere is super fun 50's themed. And make sure you see their bathroom before you leave. :)

If I could fly to Playa just to drink the Snickers milkshake, I would. Even my non vegan mom who hates sweets, LOVED that shake! Everything else on the menu is delicious as well. The decal is wonderful. They also have some of the best tasting cheesecakes I’ve had. Amazing flavour and texture
