Always Delicious!

Well well! The last time we visited this place they were in a smaller space! They upgraded to a larger spot next door and it is fantastic! Same great menu. Today my wife and I split their veggie soup (very hearty with lentils and an abundance of veggies) and the white bean hummus and avocado sandwich. I cannot stand the taste of avocado, but the sandwich was delicious. Also got some fresh brewed tea, and a loaf of rosemary garlic sourdough to take home. Always a great experience here, and always delicious. Very friendly and vegan-friendly staff as well!

Pros: Solid vegan options, Delicious food, Outdoor seating

Cons: Not a massive amount of vegan options, but enough!

Love the white bean hummus sandwich!

The white bean hummus and avocado sandwich may not seem exciting but it is surprisingly flavorful and delightful. Their fresh baked breads are so good and you can get any sandwich on any type of bread. I got the rosemary garlic and that was delicious. All of the specials the day I went were also vegan or could be made vegan. At least 2 vegan desserts.

Pros: Fresh ingredients , Flavorful , Decent amount of vegan options

Cons: Slightly small portions, Not all desserts are vegan

Offering more great Organic Baked Goods!

Every time i visit Community Loaves they have something new or a twist on one of their regulars. Now they have more hours, more selections and more customers! They are serving great freshly made veggie sandwiches to go- quiche to sing about and always their great bread- which I cant live without! Sarah and Meredith and their changing gang of helpers are always working hard to bring us real food, made the old fashioned way, by hand and with heart. This place is a treasure, with their quaint interior, the food, the people and the great back garden. There is no place in Jacksonville that has a outdoor eating area like Community Loaves- its like being in England, but right here. Fancy some tea and cake?

Pros: Warm and creative Atmosphere, Super happy place, Original and always evolving

Cons: slightly off the beaten path, Not many tables in front, No soup
