These pastries are the veganized version of the typical Portuguese cakes/pastries and not only are they delicious and very indulgent but also exactly the same flavor as the original/non-vegan ones. The lady at the counter was also very nice and friendly😄

Vegan Bolas de Berlim and croissants - Edit
Traditional bakery with some vegan options: cream filled donuts (bolas de Berlim) and croissants. The pastries are very tasty and definitively worth trying.

A pessoa que faz todos os bolos e salgados desta pastelaria é muito simpática e criativa. Explicou-me que havendo uma encomenda poderá ter muito mais variedade. Têm croissants de chocolate e com um género de recheio sem ovo, e bolas de Berlim vegan também, com e sem recheio.

Surprising amount of vegan options - Edit
Ok so not the best cakes I’ve ever had to be honest but for this quiet part of Matosinhos was a good range. Some croissants, a doughnut and the potato with jackfruit thing which was nice. Also incredibly cheap! Croissants and as about 1.30 euro and both with an expresso was only 3.50 euro! Lovely staff too and a nice little courtyard. 10 mins walk from beach.

Ja sou cliente habitual e nunca desilude. O croissant é sem duvida o melhor que ja provei. Sou igualmente fã da coxinhas de jaca e dos ratinhos de chocolate e bolas de berlim. O mais dificil é escolher!

Delicious sweet treats - Edit
Had their Bolo Rei and Rato de Chocolate (chocolate covered almond deliciousness in the shape of a mouse) and both were absolutely amazing. It was my first time having both of those traditional Portuguese pastries, so I can't compare with the non-vegan version, but I loved it. It's on the sweet side, but exactly as expected. Prices were good as well!
