We visited the copper branch during the vegan food tour Utrecht and it was a great stop. We tasted the copper burger which was very tasty.

I ordered the Caesar Bowl, which includes penne pasta, crispy vegan chicken, vegan bacon, croutons, romaine lettuce, tomato, vinaigrette blanche dressing, and pumpkin seeds. I did not want tomato, but I couldn't omit it when ordering online. Otherwise, the bowl was fine, but I would have preferred more lettuce.

Read moreThe burger and onion rings where not really good. The bottom bun was soggy and there are so many red onions its spicy. Onion rings were baked and not fried so not really crispy.
However, the bowl was really delicious. The vegetables are steamed just right and they have marinated shiitake that are really good. Would definitely recommend to try it out.

Update: contacted them through their website, this person was understanding and offered to refund our bill and invited us for a free meal. They explained they currently are having a staffing problem which will soon be solved.
Read moreBurgers came at different times because they messed up the order. The fries came later and were either too tough or undercooked. Rotten lettuce. When the new burger came we had all waited for 60 minutes and our food was cold. They only offered extra drinks as compensation. They only offer pre paid orders, so we gave a tip beforehand. The burgers tasted like freezer burgers, nothing special for the price we paid. Will not come back here even if I would be paid for it.

I ordered the Copper Club. The bread wasn’t close to done. It clearly wasn’t a fresh baguette and hadn’t been put in the oven long enough. The fries weren’t that great either.

Gister samen met mijn partner een bezoek gebracht aan Copper Branch in Utrecht. Wij bestelde beide een burger menu (totaal €40,-!) De burger was klein en lauw, en de patat zelfs deels rauw. Patat terug gestuurd en kwam wederom deels rauw terug uit de keuken. Deze hebben we dus niet gegeten. Op het verzoek om het geld terug te geven voor de patat werd gereageerd dat ze dat niet doen en een andere optie werd ons niet geboden. Na het melden dat ik hierover een slechte recensie zou schrijven mochten we ineens wat drinken of een gebakje uitzoeken.

Ik ben al jaren vegan en ben blij met alle vegan initiatieven. Maar zo’n slechte ervaring heb ik nog nooit gehad en zal Copper Branche niet aanraden. Had graag maar 1 ster gegeven, maar dat is helaas niet mogelijk.

...the portions are small and very expensive. The desert was a disappointment. Pre-package ice in the container for €5,9. The kombucha was €5,9 as well for a regular bottle. The service took for ever but that could be an anomaly.

Beer expensive but you can get combo meals with soft drink (including excellent iced tea) for 16.90€.
