Tasty!!

Excellent vegan and vegetarian options, all displayed in the menu. I was impressed with their full range of named vegan dishes and desserts. We had vegetarian options, the food was delicious.

Should be 5 Stars

their vegan range is so extensive and solid that I think they should get a 5 Stars, they also seem to operate a vegan only restaurant on Uber, just the best filling vegan Indian out there, definitely not cheap though

Lots of vegan options

Coriander’s has stepped it up and added lots of specific vegan options. There’s a page of vegan options with soy chunks, while other vegan-possible options and starters are clearly marked (including wines in the drinks menu). There’s a vegan starter platter now and a vegan banquet option too.

Tonight we also got two free poppadoms and mango chutney when we sat down and a spoon each of yummy mango sorbet between our entree and mains as a palate cleanser.

Friendly service, nice venue, and 15% off for Christchurch Vegan Society members.

One note is that the curries are hotter here for me than many other Indian places, so if you’re not sure about spice order mild (you can always step it up next time).

Pros: Vegan options well marked , Lots of vegan options, Friendly service

Cons: Order mild unless you know you can handle spice, Parking out the back not available before 6pm

Great selection

Like most Indian restaurants the menu is huge! But unlike most other Indian restaurants this place has a full page of vegan and a further two pages of vegetarian dishes. The vegan dishes feature soy pieces which is like mock meat. I chose one of these as it made a change from other places that just do vegetable options. I was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty and lots of soy pieces.

The staff took notice that I’d ordered from the vegan menu and notified me when I ordered a plain naan bread that it wasn’t vegan. I thought this was great that they thought to check.

Disgusted to find lamb in my dahl

Feeling disgusted after I found lamb in my Dahl. I specifically asked for the meal to be vegan (which they also wrote on the box)

Pros: Church corner has good options

Cons: Disgusted , Delivery took over an hour

Very disappointed

Arrived with group of fellow vegans to find all starters cooked in same fryer as meaty mains and starters. SO DISAPPOINTED

Pros: Vegan menu available

Cons: All starters are cooked in same deep fat fryer, As meaty starters and mains BEWARE

Cozy and delicious

The Restaurant is very cozy and comfortable. The Dishes that can be made Vegan are marked in the menu. I just LOVE their dhal Makhani. Tried it in several other places but keep coming back for this one😄My friend tried the Baighan Bahrta and liked it, too. We shared a vegetarian Platter which can be made vegan.

Pros: Friendly staff, many vegan options,
