Very average Indian food

I disliked the eggplant vegan dish so much, I didn't eat it. This happens to me 1/100 meals. The fried Pokora and Samosa were fine, dips did not have great vegan options.

Pros: Friendly staff, Location, Fried appetizers

Cons: Average Indian food, Dips, Eggplant

Many vegan options

Wide variety of Asian foods. Can be spicy or mild. I had the Chow Mein. It is a bit different than traditional but quite good. The sauce is tomato based.

Good food with quite a few vegan options

We've only tried them during their soft-opening so far, so we can't comment on the whole menu. What we had was really tasty and pretty authentic though: channa masala, basmati rice, and samosa with tamarind chutney. The woman serving assured us that lots of the menu would be vegan when they properly opened (which it seems to be) and that they'd be happy to advise any vegans who eat there about what is vegan-suitable.

Pros: Cute place, Friendly staff, Fairly authentic

Cons: Not fully vegan, Not a lot of seating, No outdoor seating

We've been back since & we're not sure we trust them now. We were assured that everything we ordered was vegan, but we both had upset stomachs afterwards. The kind we only get when we've accidentally eaten dairy (we've both been vegan for decades, so we don't have the gut bacteria to digest animal products any more.)
