I’m glad we ditched the Strip for vegan sushi and noodles. My big bowl of ramen noodles in a spicy broth made with fresh tomatoes was delicious. We also enjoyed miso soup, basil fried rice, a spider roll and a cucumber roll. Our server was cheerful and very knowledgeable about the menu. I was too full to order the avocado brownie for dessert. Daikon Vegan Sushi is about a 17 minute drive, more or less depending on traffic, from the Strip and well worth the trip. It’s located in a strip mall near Whole Foods.

Can’t believe I waited so long - Edit
This place is so far from me, so I went to the other two places I know that had vegan sushi, and also that this restaurant was really small, but I am so mad at myself for waiting so long to try it. Not only have they expanded and the restaurant is much bigger and very nice, the sushi was absolutely incredible! Will happily drive almost 30 minutes just for the best vegan sushi I’ve had!!

My husband loves sushi. I never hated it, but one can only eat so many avocado and cucumber rolls. For the first time, I had variety with Daikon. I tried the crunchy California, the tropical dragon, and the spider roll. Can't even pick a favorite. They were all really good.

If you go to only one restaurant in Vegas, go to this one. Their sushi is spectacular and every other menu item we have tried has been fantastic as well. We live in Phoenix, and we never skip Daikon when we come to Vegas. In fact, sometimes the main reason we come is for Daikon!

First up, the service was very friendly, prompt, and helpful, the wait staff get an A+. I thought the flavors and textures were delectable and the food didn't feel too heavy afterwards. My picky non-vegan friend was very happy with every aspect and wanted to return, so that helps with my vegan bias. The Thai tea with their own take on boba was a winner as well.

Best vegan sushi I’ve ever had - Edit
I went here with my non-vegan husband and friend, who both loved the food. My husband and I shared the Salt and Pepper Calamari, as well as the Hot Girl Roll, the Bulgolgi roll and the Black Dragon roll. He was very impressed. My friend had the Curry Ramen and quite enjoyed it, to his surprise. The service was wonderful. Our waiter even informed us of the annual Vegfest and Vegan Festivals that are held monthly in Vegas, in case we would like to attend. Which we shall.

I e always missed the succulence of General Tao’s chicken. This place has a vegan dish that taste exactly like I remember. Newly renovated and a great staff. I cannot highly recommend this place enough. Lots of options. All vegan!

Incredible experience! In town for 32 hours and had to try this place as it came so highly recommended. They didn’t disappoint! Service - to notch - Felipe rocked! The quality of food was just as amazing as their presentation. Here’s the MUST HAVES - stuffed jalapeño, dynamite pockets, black dragon roll (excellent recommendation to add the organic black rice), caterpillar roll, tropical dragon roll and yuba roll! We also prefer their Black sesame cheesecake 🤤 Highly recommend and will definitely be back when in Vegas!

Cute place with a large menu. I really enjoyed the 2 sushi rolls I had. I like that they have a black rice option instead of white. It's pricey but all vegan sushi in Vegas is pricey.

It’s worth a stop whether your vegan or not. It was really hard to choose just a few things to get. But everything was really really good. Our server was friendly and super knowledgeable with great recommendations. I wish I lived here so I could come here more often.

Woooowwww!!!! My mind was blown away by Daikon!!!! They have 6$ specials on certain days of the week! Tuesday and Wednesday golden state roll and tomato ramen are the best! I would go weekly if I lived in Vegas again!! Daikon is so amazing, I'll visit every time I'm in town!

It's solid, but it's not Chikyu - Edit
I do enjoy the sushi here and since I don't live in Henderson, it's more convenient for me than visiting Chikyu. However, I can't help but feel a little disappointed that their prices are basically identical to Chikyu without the elevated service, atmosphere, and food that Chikyu offers. This place has a much more casual vibe and the rolls are tasty, but not quite as creative and mind-blowing as their competitor's. I'm not trying to be a hater or anything because the food here is still pretty good in its own right, but if you had a limited amount of time in Vegas and were trying to decide between which vegan sushi joint to hit up, Chikyu is absolutely the better choice.
Read moreEdit: I do want to add that this place is still amazing in its own right, and has absolutely earned the 5 star review! Me and my husband do eat here regularly and love it. The only reason I'm emphasizing the comparison to Chikyu is to help make it clear to the non-locals that Chikyu is actually god-tier (for the same price) as opposed to just really really good. But living in Summerlin, we're more than happy to make Daikon our go-to since it's closer and still delicious.
